VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding PitchesSep 2024

Really easy to find from the road, toilets and the washing up area was really clean. I was booked for 2 nights but unfortunately could only stay for one. Close to lots of walks and as a lone woman, I also felt safe. Will return again.

A very convenient site for the location

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesSep 2024

An excellent place to explore the slopes of Helvellyn. A very busy working farm, that provides clean and very adequate facilities. It's one for the adventurous, who want to be out walking the hills during the day and too tired to notice traffic from the occasional car during the night. The road is busy during the day. There is a great hotel and pub at the side of the site, for food and drinks, but make sure book as it does get busy. I want to explore that area again, I would be more than happy to stay at this site. It had Hardstanding pitches with hook ups and came with our own water supply.

Amazing

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesSep 2024

Amazing place to stay. Some lovely views with sheep at the back of you if you like to just watch with a brew. Only issues, though not even an issue really, it is next to a main road, so may hear few vehicles go past. Gorgeous pub next door also. Amazing camping spot, definitely recommend.
