Lovely site, well maintained and facilities clean and well presented. Very helpful and welcoming. Big pitches well spaced. Can't think it could be any better.

Enjoyed our brief stay and enjoyed the beautiful views and the tranquillity of the site. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day earlier than we planned as my husband was feeling unwell, so decided to cut our stay a little short and return home. So we would definitely recommend this site and would love to make a return visit some time soon. My only criticism is the facilities were a bit basic and not enough for the size of the plot, especially when the site is busier.

Beautiful location with stunning views. Friendly owners, spotlessly clean showers and toilets. Pleasant walk to Boscastle from the site.

Unfortunately, we turned up just as a storm arrived and it had been raining constantly for weeks, so the lack of hardstanding pitches was tricky, but we made the best of our time! The owners were very helpful and accommodating, and helped us out as much as possible. We would love to return when the weather improves!

Loved our stay here, children had freedom to run round and play with other children in the play area, which was easily visible to supervise at a distance from the tent. Very spacious pitches with lovely views. Hot showers, very clean, also enjoyed the on site pizzas and fire pits. Need the car to get to most places but did walk to Boscastle a couple of times and got the bus back from there.

Basic campsite with beautiful views. Our pitch was big enough to feel like we had some privacy either side. Unfortunately, we had terrible weather all week so the grass was lovely when we arrived but not so much by the time we left. Can't be helped. Toilets were mopped regularly so didn't get too muddy. Only two toilets, two showers and one sink for washing up which isn't enough, showers are really good though. The wind at night was insane, felt and sounded like I was taking off in a rocket, not sure if that's just the weather or because the site is so open and high up. Close to Boscastle and Bude, quite out of the way if you want a main town or anything indoors, like adventure golf or swimming etc. Didn't actually meet any of the campsite staff. Overall a nice little site.
Site's response
It was a shame you visited in storm Antoni! It's not the normal weather here, so this wasn't within our control, unfortunately. Apologies we didn't get to meet you as we usually would, for future information there is another shower and toilet area with washing-up sinks in the lower field also. Thanks for visiting 😊

Had an amazing time. Super lucky as there was only a couple other people staying on the site at the same time. Facilities were cleaned regularly and the campsite was maintained to a high standard!

Can’t fault the campsite, it’s a good location with a great sea view and good facilities including a bar. Only thing to note is going during school holidays means there will be a lot of kids - so maybe not ideal for couples who don’t want to wake up early
Excellent site to stay

We extended our stay to 4 night as we loved the location. Camping is very relaxed, and managed and kept clean very well! We had a great view from the pitch to the sea!
Nice little site, but a bit exposed

The site is small (only three small fields). It is tucked out of the way, so quite quiet. Only two toilet/shower blocks which makes for queues. Having said that, the blocks are kept spotlessly clean, and the site generally is kept exceptionally tidy. The only downside is that it is near the coast at the head of a valley, and so quite exposed. With a small tent it's not much drama, but suspect trying to pack a large family tent away might be something of a headache. Didn't have much contact with the owners, but of the contact we did have, they were pleasant, friendly and helpful. If you don't mind a potential fight to pack away, this is a great little site.
Absolutely wonderful

Lovely small campsite with a playground for the kids. Electric hook up was perfect, toilets & showers were very clean. Kids enjoyed looking at the chickens & playing with the friendly cats. The bar was small, but open nearly every night. The kids enjoyed playing pool & spending time with their new friends. It was a great base for going to local beaches & seeing the sights. Only downfall was the internet never worked that was onsite, however you do get a good phone signal.

Great campsite. Facilities clean and big pitches so not too close. Lovely and quiet. We walked down and back to Boscastle and I'd definitely recommend you use a light at night, we had a flashing red one as it is a dangerous road (late at night).
