About Country Meadow Caravan Park
This small and charming family run site is only two miles from Sutton on Sea and an easy drive from all the area's seaside attractions. The site has over 30 pitches all of which have electric hook ups and both hardstanding and grass are available. The hardstanding pitches are for motorhomes and campervans only. There are even seasonal pitches or a pitch and store option for those looking to stay by the sea for longer. Electric is metered using pre paid smart cards. There are two heated camping pods. A large pod for four with two single and a bunk bed, and a smaller pod for two with just a comfortable double bed. Both pods sit on a hardstanding area, the larger pod also has a picnic bench outside, and each has its own parking area set near the facilities building. Both have an equipped kitchenette with a microwave, fridge with an ice box, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Bedding isn't provided in either pod. Motorhomes are restricted to a maximum length of 8.5m, width 2.4m and height 3.2m and weight of 3.6 tonnes. The site is also on the main road leading into Sutton on Sea. Dogs are welcome on the touring pitches but not in the pods.
Pods are available from 8th March, and pitches are available from 28th March. The site closes 17th November.
Site facilities include spotless showers (50p charge), toilets and a coin operated launderette (£4 per wash and £4 for use of the tumble drier for 2 hours), along with a section of information leaflets and books to borrow. A dog walk runs across public footpaths opposite the site, there's a playground for kids and the site includes barrier access for security. WiFi is available.
The pods have a fridge with an ice box, a kettle, toaster, microwave and cutlery and crockery for the amount of people in the unit. There are TV points in both, but no TVs. The beds have a fitted sheet with mattress protectors but guests will need to bring their own duvet, pillows or sleeping bags. Please note, that there is electricity but no water supplied to the pods.
A local bus service stops at the park, taking you to the seaside.

We stayed here for a week and it was lovely. The cleanliness of toilets and showers were amazing and the showers did get nice and hot. The owners were great very pleasant and courteous and even had an electric cable for us to borrow as ours wasn't long enough... Newbie error. The site is a great location for Mablethorpe and Skegness and there is a lovely ice cream dairy 2 minutes down the road. The site is very pet-friendly and there seemed to be a lot of good walks nearby. I found the pricing modest as well, especially for the time of year we went. There is nothing negative at all to say about this site. If you're after a nice quiet site but close to attractions this is a great site to choose. I did notice a nice children's play area and saw lots of kids having fun on their bikes and playing.

A nice caravan park to stay on. You can get the bus to go north or south just outside the main entrance. Clean facilities and very good disposable points, site is level and plenty of room between your unit. The owners are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this site and will be returning again.

Absolutely beautiful, the owners were really nice and helpful. We stayed in the 4 person pod. Very comfortable and just what we needed, next to the toilet and shower room. Perfect location to travel to Mablethorpe for the day. 100%

Things to do on site and in the Mablethorpe area
Head to Mablethorpe for a proper day by the British seaside, where you'll be whirled on waltzers, treated to donkey rides, plied with great ice cream and entertained for hours. If the weather's good, there's nowhere better to be than the sandy beach and if the sky isn't on your side, you'll find indoor amusement arcades and excellent shops.
It also won't take long to reach Ingoldmells or Skegness on the bus and these are tempting options with all the family fun of Butlins, a stonking car boot sale and tasty restaurants for you to try.
You'll find fantastic coarse fishing nearby and wildlife fans will be head over heels for the Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary and Wildlife Centre and the gentle inhabitants of Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary.
