Durdle Door Holiday Park offers fabulous holidays in a quiet and secluded location with unrivalled access to the famous limestone arch - and yet the park is also within easy reach of several lively towns. You'll find Weymouth, Swanage, Poole, Bournemouth and Dorchester all within an hour's drive. If you're looking for more than beaches, try farm parks, historic castles, and of course the well-known Tank Museum and Monkey World.
About Durdle Door Holiday Park
With Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove on your doorstep, it's natural to consider Dorset's beaches and countryside the best family entertainment. Hunt for fossils among the pebbles, play in the waves or enjoy the calm waters of the cove with a kayak or paddle board. Peaceful and uncommercialised, the perfect base for exploring Dorset and the Jurassic Coast is at Durdle Door. Here you can relax - leave the car at home and feel the luxury of not going anywhere. Rookery camping pitches are, as the name suggests, nestled among tall trees used as homes by resident rooks. Designated for small tents no bigger than 18m squared, there is no electricity available. All camping pitches are unallocated and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. This does mean that the team can't guarantee that bookings of multiple tents will be able to find space next to each other. Sea view pitches are for small campervans only, up to a maximum of 5.5m in length. They offer electric and are just outside the park itself, adjacent to the public car park for Durdle Door beach. Sea view grass pitches are set on a significant slope, and it's worth noting that in peak times the car park will be busy. There is a water point a short walk from the pitches. Drive-away awnings are not permitted. Abbeyfield pitches are hardstanding, gravel pitches with electric and water. Pitches vary in size and do slope. It's worth checking with the team before booking if you have an exceptionally large vehicle. You can use an awning but tents are not allowed on touring pitches. And if you fancy something totally hassle free, a camping pod, shepherd's hut or skylight cabin may be a perfect choice. These include electric, heating and comfy beds - so things couldn't be simpler! The team look forward to welcoming you to Durdle Door, your piece of paradise!
