About the site


The campsite stretches over 2.5 acres and is just a five minute hop in the car from Derwent Reservoir with its water sports. Pitches are set on grass for those in tents, with the chance to hook up to the electric, and there are also hardstanding touring pitches with electric. Well behaved dogs are also welcome.

The Manor House Inn is moments from site and serves locally sourced meals, snacks and drinks. A five minute drive takes you to Shotley Bridge's shops. Golf and fishing are available nearby.

If you would rather be making a splash, you need to be at Derwent Reservoir. A saunter around here can take you to Pow Hill Country Park or you can cycle off on waterside trails. Bird watching in the bird hide provided is a must and there's fishing to be had too.
