About Wild Cherry Eco Campsite Certificated Site

There are just six tent camping pitches and these are nestled in a valley of rolling meadow and surrounded by wood and farmland. Here you can relax and enjoy your own secluded hideaway pitch. Campfires are welcomed and encouraged and the four largest pitches each have a private pitch-side composting toilet. You can double up the three biggest pitches for an additional nightly charge so that friends and family can pitch up together. If you're travelling hassle free, book the pre-pitched and furnished Nomadic bell tent which includes single and double beds, off grid lighting and bedding inside. Alongside this pitch is your private composting toilet, campfire, fully equipped kitchen shed and undercover dining area. Or, stay in a traditional sioux style 18' tipi, simply furnished with beds for up to 5 occupants - bring your own bedding and enjoy a unique camping experience. Dogs are welcome to join you when camping or glamping and there are areas where dogs can exercise. The site is certificated with The Greener Camping Club and welcomes members only (just £12 per year, join when booking).

Wild Cherry Eco Campsite Certificated Site is open from 23/05 to 30/09.

A note from the site themselves...

We are a smallholding here on the beautiful North Wales borders and we pride ourselves on offering a unique camping experience - get away from crowded sites and enjoy your own private space. Kids love meeting our goats and pigs and collecting firewood for the campfire.

The site opened in 2020 and since then our guests have become loyal regulars, many returning year after year to spend precious downtime with friends and family. We love to stop and chat and can help you find great places to visit or eat out. We welcome well behaved dogs on our main camping field and are happy to discuss any accessibility needs with you. Melanie

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesSep 2024

This spot is just perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. Each pitch comes with a firepit and a covered area so that come rain or shine you'll be ok. There's a great white water rafting place nearby too! The hosts were super helpful and keep stock of wood for the fire and other camping supplies at their tuck shop. Highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesJun 2024

I have never known a campsite with so much space and with such amazing facilities! Our own toilet, our own covered picnic table and just 4 pitches in a beautiful massive field. We absolutely loved this place and felt very very spoilt. Thank you, thank you. Xx
