Ty Llewelyn Glamping and Camping is nestled in the picturesque Powys countryside, offering an off-grid escape. Guests will be treated to non electric grass and hardstanding pitches, or spacious bell and safari tents for those wanting a little bit of glamping luxury. Each with their fire pit and picnic bench . The site is surrounded by glorious waterside and countryside walking routes, along with Llanidloes just a five minute drive away.

We had a wonderful break in the safari tent at Ty Llewelyn. My only regret is that we didn't book to stay for another night! The safari tent was brilliant and the outdoor bath was such a treat, Maria and Ian really have thought of everything and we can't wait to come back. Maria was such a welcoming and attentive host, thank you so much for making our anniversary trip one to remember!

Booked all 3 Belle Tents with friends for 2 nights with 6 adults and 6 kid. We had the best time, kids loved every minute! Big field right out side for the kids to play and safe. The Belle tents have everything that you need duvets, pillows, extra blankets, lights and a gas heater. This saves having to pack the cars to the brim. The kitchen area also has everything like gas cookers, cutlery, plates. Only thing I would recommend is to bring some extra pans or frying pans. Great location, with a stream and rope swings on site. Be prepared for the eco toilets, bit smelly but we have stayed at places with eco loos before, so was as we expected, the showers where hot and a good pressure. They have a honesty shed that has some essentials and offers ice pack exchange. Also, great charging station for phones/tablets with all types of leads provided and Wi-Fi. We were very happy and will be returning again.

We absolutely loved our short but sweet stay in the safari tent. Maria was so kind and really helpful and we were left to enjoy the space and solitude. The compostable toilet and separate shower were great, no problems at all and the outside bath was a particular highlight for the kids. Would 100% come back and couldn’t recommend this more highly.
