About the site

Shaped from an idea into a reality, this tranquil glamping retreat offers a safe and special place to relax and take in the beautiful farmland surrounding the hut here. The owners are keen to share their luxury shepherd's hut as the seasons unfold, and the rural countryside surrounding you is well maintained, with continued development taking place around the paddock area outside the hut. Inside the hut you'll be equipped with a comfy double bed (bedding included!), and your very own separate bathroom area. Step outside and kick back on the decking area complete with patio seating for alfresco dining. You'll also benefit from additional luxuries including Apple TV and WiFi. Sorry, no dogs.

Shepherd's hut facilities are self contained and include bathroom with toilet and shower, a fully equipped kitchen featuring microwave, grill, stove and cooking utensils, plus Nespresso coffee maker, BBQ grill, WiFi, and outdoor garden area with patio seating.

Chichester is just two miles away, and the popular Boat House Cafe can be accessed on foot from the hut along the Chichester Canal.

Site rules and policies

We operate a 2 night minimum on all our bookings and we ask you to take good care of the property the furniture and belongings within the Hut. Also not to exceed the total number of people unless discussed with us prior to your stay.

To confirm your booking, the full payment of your stay is required via our website. Major credit and debit cards accepted.

Please note in the event of cancellation you are able to get a full refund up to 7 days before your arrival and then from that point onwards your stay is non-refundable.

Things to do on site and in the Chichester area

Set in an AONB, West Wittering Beach is a large and sandy beach located at the entrance to Chichester Harbour. Proud holders of the Blue Flag Award for cleanliness and safety when patrolled by lifeguards in the summer months, it is a wonderful area for a traditional seaside day out or as a starting point for winter walks around East Head.

Throughout the day, the Beach Cafe at West Wittering serves an appetising range of hot and cold food. Or head to Chichester and grab a bite at the Boat House Cafe. This thriving café has a fresh menu along with amazing views of the harbour. Sitting right next to the Chichester Canal, it's easily accessed from the hut with a lovely hour long walk down the canal.

The Tinwood Estate's Vineyards are situated in the heart of West Sussex at the foot of the South Downs National Park. Since the first planting in 2007, Tinwood has quickly established a reputation for producing the very finest English sparkling wines. As a result they have become well known for their quality English sparkling wine.
