Ribble Valley Retreat is an idyllic farm glampsite in the Ribble Valley surrounded my countryside. There are four bell tents for up to three adults or two adults and three children, as well as an additional shepherd's hut for up to four people. This is a great choice for anyone looking to indulge in an extra slice of luxury whilst taking advantage of there being lots to do nearby.

About the site


A family-friendly glamping site set in the Ribble Valley on a working farm, with stretching panoramic countryside views across the hills and situated not far from Whalley and Clitheroe.. There are four glamping bell tents, each one sleeping up to two adults and three children although you can enquire about booking one for just three adults. Complete with a double bed and three optional single camp beds. All linen and bedding is provided for the double bed, but please bring your own sleeping bags for the camp beds. Outside, you'll have a patio with a picnic bench, stools and fire pit so that you can enjoy being outside comfortably. Shared facilities are nearby and are finished to a high standard. Additionally, there is one shepherd's hut for up to four people in a double bed and sofa bed. You'll have a well-equipped kitchenette which includes a hob, kettle, fridge, cooking utensils and crockery. This unit has an ensuite bathroom which is fitted with a shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. Outside, you shall also have your own picnic bench and fire pit to enjoy the stretching views from whilst you sip your morning coffee or unwind after a busy day. Ideally located opposite the Langho train station, the site encourage sustainable travel by taking quick and scenic rail journeys to nearby attractions. In under 10 minutes you can be surrounded by boutique shops, quirky cafes and independent bars and restaurants, as well as a food hall, markets and Clitheroe castle. There is also a communal BBQ fire pit for all to enjoy, a lovely spot to meet fellow glampers. No dogs allowed, sorry.

The shepherd's hut is open all year but the bell tents are only available May - September.

Bell tents have a shared facilities block which includes two toilets, a shower and sinks. The shepherd's hut has an ensuite. There is a communal BBQ fire pit for all to enjoy and WiFi onsite.

Stayin in the Ribble Valley means you'll be surrounded by gastro pubs, Michelin restaurants and food markets, so you're never short of places to eat or shop.

Shepherd's hut complete with one double bed and one sofa bed. Well equipped kitchenette with a fridge, hob and kettle. Ensuite with a toilet, shower, sink, hairdryer and toiletries. Outside you'll have a patio with a picnic bench. Open all year round.



Check-in is between 3pm-9pm.

Check-out is by 10am.

Two night minimum stay.

No dogs allowed, sorry.


At this glamping getaway, you'll have plenty to do with lots of local walks, hikes and trails nearby. For the most ambitious of you, try the Tolkien Trail which is accessible by foot.

Just 25 minutes in the car will get you to Pendle HIll, famous for its witches trails which are sure to leave you bewildered
