About Eriskay Guesthouse and Aviemore Glamping
Set in the town of Aviemore, you're in an ideal location for outdoor activities in the Highlands with Skye, Fort William and Loch Ness all within driving distance. The site is set down a secluded cul-de-sac so you'll also be within a ten minute walk of all of Aviemore's amenities, including pubs, cafes, shops and public transport links. There are four pods onsite all set next to each other with parking nearby, each has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space available. The pods are heated and sleep a maximum of two people (including children) and you can choose either a double or twin bed configuration to suit your requirements. Ideal for couples and friends alike, there is also a kitchen area with a kettle, a bar fridge and a coffee machine. The pods also have an ensuite wet room with a shower, toilet and basin. Quality, crisp linen and towels are provided as well as complementary tea and coffee, shampoo, body wash and body lotion. The pods also have a Freeview TV and a Bluetooth speaker, during your stay you will also have access to use The Bothy which is situated between the Pods. It has a convection microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, dining area and kettle. Outside your pod you'll have a BBQ if you fancy cooking a burger or hot dog, or you can make use of the communal BBQ outside The Bothy. Delicious breakfasts are available as an optional extra, made by host Gill with vegan and vegetarian options. All made from local produce, you can choose from the classic full Scottish or Highland breakfast, porridge, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, French toast and hot croissants. There is also a guesthouse on site with double, twin and a family room. You certainly won't be short of things to do during your visit, with the beautiful surroundings of the Highlands and the Cairngorms National Park on your doorstep. There is bird watching, climbing, hill walking, fishing, biking and water sports available on Loch Insh and Loch Morlich. Sorry, no pets.

Located at the foot of the Cairngorm mountains, the national park offers a superb range of outdoor activities to keep you busy all year round. You'll find climbing, biking, hill walking, fishing, skiing, snowboarding and watersports opportunities within easy reach here.
Another popular activity for nature lovers is Osprey watching, head to Loch Garten RSPB (20 minutes) in Abernethy Forest, renowned for its diverse wildlife and Ospreys. Head there early morning or late in the evening for your best chance to spot one!
Or, experience some Scottish culture by heading to The Cairn Distillery (20 minutes), where you can sample some of the very best whisky Scotland has to offer from an amazing vantage point with fantastic views over the Cairngorns!
