About Ashfield Caravan Park
A friendly, family run site set in a rural location away from the noise and hectic nature of city living, but only ten minutes from Hartlepool. Relax, unwind and enjoy the best of both worlds here. Easily accessible from the main roads, you're in an ideal location for visiting all the North East has to offer, with Durham and the Tees Valley just a short drive away. Choose from hardstanding or grass pitches, all level and with well cut grass and electric hook-ups. Please note, dogs are not permitted on site.
Open from 1 April to 31 October
Site facilities include a modern and clean shower block with plenty of hot water and fully accessible toilets, including baby changing areas. There is also a washing up area and full laundry, including a drying facility, as well as a picnic and children's play area. WiFi is provided on site and you can access a TV inside the clubhouse, which also offers a licensed bar and games room.
There's a range of drinks and snacks on offer inside the clubhouse, including a hearty breakfast! You'll also find further snacks, as well as sweets and ice creams at the shop in the reception area too.
There are also plenty of other shops within five minutes of your base, as well as a supermarket less than a ten minute drive away.

Things to do on site and in the Hartlepool area
Less than ten minutes from the site is the coastal town of Hartlepool with beaches, restaurants, shops and beautiful coastal scenery to enjoy.
Little ones will be huge fans of Tweddle Children's Animal Farm, where you'll find cute animals to pet, go karting, play areas and crazy golf for all the family.
This is an excellent area for fishing, in particular Abbey Hills Fishing Lake is very popular for coarse fishing, with a range of beautiful aquatic plants and a tranquil setting to enjoy.
Looking to rev up on an adventure? You'll be keen to try Quads 4 All, which is close to the park and is something both parents and kids can enjoy together.
