A note from the site themselves...

Being a camper myself and solo travelling extensively all around the world, Barrow campsite is my way of giving back to this wonderful community. To connect to other campers, hear their stories and create a friendly, hospitable, intimate and tranquil haven for you to relax and shake off the hustle and bustle of modern life.

One of our proudest moments was qualifying for the Channel 4 show "Perfect Pitch". Up against some of the finest long established Scottish campsites, we went on to finish as finalists and miss the top spot by just one single point!

At Barrow campsite we value your opinions and take suggestions seriously, that is why season after season we listen and upgrade the site to make your stay that much more enjoyable and stress free.

Barrow campsite has a large number of returning campers which shows our hard work, personal touch and beautiful location ticks all the boxes.

Relaxation awaits! Happy camping!

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesOct 2024

Only stayed one of my 2 nights, but happy with the site. I stayed somewhere a bit more sheltered from Storm Ashley as it was lovely, but a bit exposed.

Super. Location is not so good. Super if you want quiet and far away from everything. But, it is super organised and super clean!

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

I stayed 5 nights and loved being there. The man who runs it is really helpful. The toilets and showers are clean and up to date. There is a reasonably priced laundry facility. The site is out in the countryside and there is a lovely fenced in dog running area with a pond.
