About Sunnyhill Park Campsite
This peaceful site sits between the town of Wincanton and the village of Bruton. With Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire at your feet, there are plenty of stunning landscapes to explore both close and further afield. This site may be in the middle of nowhere, but there is lots nearby to keep you busy. On the main site, year round, there are six pitches - three hardstanding and three grass. Each pitch on the main site offers an electric hook up, as well as the yurts, shepherd's hut and gypsy wagon, all within easy reach of the shower block and overlooking the valley towards Alfred's Tower. The Hay Field is open for weekends throughout July and August. This field has toilet and shower facilities, and very spacious pitches. There will also be live musicians in this field on some Saturdays during peak season and early evening sessions to be enjoyed around a campfire! There is also a visiting storyteller, outdoor yoga sessions can be arranged too. Each of the two yurts sleeps up to six, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. This includes a double bed, floor mattresses, bed linen, a log burner, camp stove and electric. Outside, there is also a fire pit, furniture, and even a kitchen shed shared with other yurt guests. For a real touch of luxury, opt for the shepherd's hut with its own private wood-fired hot tub. Inside is a kingsize bed above two single twin beds, along with a kitchenette and outdoor fire pit and furniture. A six person bell tent is also available onsite. You will find quirky features dotted around too, including hand painted plants pots, signs and more. There is also a pet corner for meeting the friendly onsite animals! Close by there is also Kingfisher stud where you can board your horse and have riding lessons on them while you are here. Dogs are welcome onsite, along with raised BBQs and fire pits.
