I gave facilities 3* but it was not about the camp, the food in the bar was not to standard, offering burgers and chicken burgers plain only. No butter, no salad, no fries. Not really the best way to serve up a burger.
Fantastic site!

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. Modern and clean facilities. Firepits to hire and logs/kindling to buy, which is great. Beautiful views too. The only thing that would have been handy, is if the little shop had more fresh stock. Other than that it was perfect!

This campsite is only 8 minutes from The Lost Gardens of Heligan. When you arrive, you are welcomed with a smile and are shown the facilities around the site. We booked a lake view pitch and wow, what a lovely area for our stay and to watch the sunset every evening. We also had a wander around the rest of the site which was very beautiful and well kept. The shop accommodated your basic needs, the showers and toilets were very clean If you want peace and quiet this is the place. Yes, we certainly will book again.

Pensagillas is a small quiet campsite between St Austell and Truro in a good location for exploring Cornwall. We had an outer meadow pitch with electric hook-up, a view of the pond and the small flock of Canadian Geese that arrived daily. There was a small shed with a shower, toilet and 2 washing up sinks nearby and there are more facilities near reception and the bar - all are clean and well maintained. There is a small shop at Reception and a bar is open in the evening that serves chips and a small selection of hot food. Firepits can be hired and they have all you need to get your fire started. We enjoyed our stay and spoke with other campers who have returned for many years. If you are looking for a peaceful stay - Pensagillas is the place.

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Cornwall, Pensagilla's Park is a hidden gem that offers a tranquil retreat for those seeking peace and serenity. I recently had the pleasure of staying here for seven nights, and it was an experience that I will cherish for a long time. The campsite boasts levelled pitches equipped with electricity and Wi-Fi, ensuring a comfortable and connected stay. The panoramic views are simply breath-taking, with the surrounding nature painting a vivid picture of grasslands, rolling hills, and vibrant flowers. Wildlife enthusiasts will be delighted by the abundant birds, geese, and other animals that frequent the area, adding a touch of magic to the natural beauty. One of the standout features of Pensagilla's Park is its stunning ponds and a well-maintained fishing lake. Each evening, I was treated to mesmerizing sunsets that cast a golden hue over the tranquil waters, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. The atmosphere at Pensagilla's Park is remarkably calm and peaceful, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The owners are incredibly friendly and polite, always ready with a smile and eager to recommend local attractions. Their dedication to maintaining the campsite is evident, as they are constantly attentive to the needs of their guests and the upkeep of the facilities. Speaking of facilities, Pensagilla's Park truly excels. The toilets and bathrooms are impeccably clean and modern, with a reliable supply of hot water. There are also convenient areas for washing dishes, and a charming bar and shop cater to any necessities or whims that might arise during your stay. This campsite is a haven for visitors seeking tranquillity (quiet times are respected). The serene environment is best enjoyed without the potential disturbances of larger, more boisterous groups, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural splendour and quietude. In conclusion, Pensagilla's Park is a sanctuary of calm and natural beauty. It offers everything needed for a rejuvenating escape, with the added bonus of attentive and hospitable owners. I wholeheartedly recommend this campsite to anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature in one of Cornwall's most beautiful settings.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pensagillas Park. The facilities were excellent and very clean. The location is very peaceful and we had a lovely view of the lake with wildlife such as geese, heron and deer. Whilst it feels remote, the location is very convenient for the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden project, the towns of St Austell and Mevagissey and some lovely coastal walks. The nearby Griggs restaurant does very good breakfast. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved this park! From the moment we arrived staff were on hand, helpful and friendly! Beautiful pitch close to facilities with an amazing view of the fishing pond! The site was wonderful and quiet which was a bonus for us, especially during half term. Facilities always clean and tidy. Our children (10&8yrs) loved the fishing and especially enjoyed watching the wildlife of an evening. We saw barn owls, an array of birds and a multitude of animals were heard! We very much enjoyed our stay and will be looking to return in the near future! Already recommended to family and friends!

Fantastic park, with lovely country scenery and great views. Good size pitches. Typical Cornwall road on lead up for a couple of miles, so squeaky bum if you're not comfy driving on these roads. But does have passing places, and worth it when you get there. Private site but still has nice facilities and a brilliant dog walk. Well looked after xxxx
