Beautiful location and very clean campsite. Small parks for the children to meet and play. Beautiful sea view. Not an easy walk to the beach.

Campsite was absolutely fine. It was the weather that let it down.

Beautiful location. I thought that the shop was too expensive and that you shouldn't have to pay for showers. Noisy of a night time. However, we did enjoy ourselves.

Great stay but sloping in places. Wi-Fi and tv reception can be temperamental but that is to be expected. Facilities were fairly basic but functional and clean. Shop is very good and the pizzas were nice, but overpriced. All in all, a good spot fairly close to the beach, but wouldn't recommend taking a larger motorhome down the lane to the beach car park.
Great site, clean amenities

Showers well maintained and costs 50p. More than enough time to shower and help save the planet If you're after a campsite with great views, I would highly recommend. I enjoyed my stay so much that I booked an extra night. Will definitely be coming back

Had a wonderful stay, even though it rained nearly every day. I would recommend this campsite to everyone. It was also a great place to stay for families.

This was a really lovely experience so much so we booked for an extra two nights. The atmosphere was lovely, great views, great facilities and lovely staff. Lovely beach 10 minute walk away, nice little Thai takeaway van with excellent food.

Just come back from our camping trip. The site was excellent and very well maintained with large pitches with water supply close by, clean toilets and nice hot showers. Most pitches fairly level and big enough so impossible to feel over crowded. The middle area is quite soft but we were given an excellent pitch with a sea view.
It was alright but could find similar for cheaper

We picked this location due to the proximity to the beach and to visit other areas, you could see the sea from a high up pitch and the walk was easy to a lovely beach with café and a local bar on route. We had a nice time but I think the fact it was so much more money than our other stays makes me question what for? The pizza takeaway is only open 1-2 months of the year and we assumed in summer it would be. Same with the bar but honestly, it felt that even the shop was never open. There was a Thai takeaway, but not on the nights we stayed but the Lizard was a short drive with pubs and fish and chip options. We ended up having to pay a lot for electric and even showers are charged 50p for 5 minutes and the first minute is cold. Lots of signs asking to save water but all the washing up sinks leaked. Toilets were clean and was nice to have radio on all the time but they only had one toilet block open during our stay so that was really annoying long walk, especially during the night when we should of had one near our pitch. We got to pick our pitch and it was really nice that we got to be pretty much by ourselves, especially as there were lots of other people getting drunk and loud some nights. You can park next to your pitch so that's great for unloading and days out. It is a very windy campsite so I highly recommend windbreakers as cooking was a test of skill at times but all part of the experience. There were plenty of picnic benches which was really nice to cook and eat on. Shame that there was not one place to dispose of recycling so everything had to go in general waste. Otherwise nice laid out area and birds wondering about the site.

Chy Carne - lovely clean site and our pitch had a marvellous sea view! 20 minutes walk to Kennac Sands and a 45 minutes walk to Cadgwick Cove along the breathtaking views of the coastal path. There is a bus stop right outside the campsite which we used for the bus to Lizard Point. Helston is also handy for shopping.

Limited facilities, but great if you just want peace and quiet with access to good dog walking and dog-friendly beaches. Staff very welcoming too. Be prepared you do need 50p for the showers etc, but free Wi-Fi is available.

What a great run campsite. Really loved it here and didn't want to go home. It was only a short walk to the beautiful beach with a great atmosphere at camp with live entertainment. It was brilliant, will definitely be going back.

We had a lovely few days here. Pitch was large enough and well mapped out. We had the luxury of perfect weather and enjoyed a nice relaxing break. Everyone was super friendly and the staff always had smiles and were happy to chat. The pizzas were lovely and a nice change from cardboard chips and oily fish. Although the shop was small it stocked pretty much everything needed, and prices were as you'd expect from a campsite. The laundry facilities were fine and the showers were clean and well maintained. We had a drink at the pub round the corner which was on the way to the beach, which was lovely (we didn't actually make the beach!) lol, there was plenty to do in and around the area with just short drives. Overall we would definitely go back as we had such a lovely relaxing time.

Amazing family site, has everything you want and need when coming camping with small children. Site shop has everything you need. Showers, toilets etc are so so clean, always being cleaned too which is nice to see. Only thing I would say is that it's annoying how the whole site is pretty much on a slope but obviously can't be helped, and the tumble dryer on site is rubbish - spent about £15.00 to dry a few items still didn't fully dry them. We will be back though, thanks so much xx
Site's response
Thank you for your recent visit We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. For clarification the camp site is divided into a number of different camping areas. There are well in excess of 70 pitches in a number of areas with level pitches and some pitches are on a gentle slope but nothing that can not be handled. Of course we are unable to comment on the your experience regarding the tumble dryer but they are new machines and we are not aware of any issues relating to them. We look forward to your return Chycarne
