Stunning views, disappointing facilities

Stunning views! Unfortunately that's where the positives stop. The facilities were dirty, full of spiders and very uninviting. I've visited this site 4 years ago and had a lovely time, I don't remember the facilities being as they were. Also 3/4 of the field was fenced off for the horses and sheep. Now I haven't got a problem with this but it just added to the untidy look of the place. A new building has been built which is great! However, it already looks run down inside, there a window smash and again generally looks unappealing. I wouldn't recommend if your priority is clean facilities, if it isn't then the views on a clear day are brilliant.

Great little campsite for where we wanted to be. Facilities basic but ok. Views spectacular.
Gorgeous setting, very basic facilities

If we had not prepaid, we would not have stayed here. The location and views are absolutely gorgeous. Everything else from the clarity of actual field entrance to the facilities were very basic indeed and totally overpriced. Cleanliness of the cramped and unheated toilet block was minimal and the local insect life was in every toilet and the one shower open in the ladies. The washing up area had cold running water but you had to boil kettles to get hot water. We cannot recommend this site and would not return.

Went for a 3 night stay, lots of pitches to choose from & a short drive from Falmouth itself. Lovely animals, met one of the cats who was ever so friendly! Took my 6.5 month old daughter camping with us (first time) and it went well. Washing machine and tumble dryers there to wash your clothes at a cost, fantastic idea! Also bins around the site to get rid of any rubbish. Cafe open 5 days a week! What I would say, is bring your own toilet and a torch, towards the evening, toilet roll would start to run out in the ladies, and it was very dark in the toilets, there isn't a lot of light at all & the light provided doesn't do alot. A small playground for toddler ages children, however not much else to do. Showers I felt were also fairly small. However for the price we paid, we didn't expect too much. Floor in the disabled wetroom/toilet was also dirty the majority of the time, I noticed. The shower is on the left as you walk in, I think it would benefit from being moved, there is a lot of space in there where it could go. Maybe supply a mop to mop down after a shower in there? Other than that, we enjoyed it. We took our own camping kitchen so we could cook tea at the tent. Electric hookup is brilliant. Personally I'd say if you were looking for somewhere to stay as you had plans but needed to pitch somewhere with toilets and showers, this is the place.

We were a little disappointed with the facilities at the site. We appreciate the weather was poor and there had been lots of rain, but drainage in the field was not good, so became muddy quickly. It’s a working farm, adapted for camping rather than designed as a campsite.
Good value and sea view

Stayed one night (Tuesday) to allow an evening out in Falmouth. Site very easy to find, as was access to pitches. Price per night for electric hook up matched best price I'd found in the Lizard area. Friendly and helpful and communications with owner were excellent. The site was clean, quiet and relaxing after their busy Summer. Didn't use toilets and showers as we had our own, so can't comment. Big washing machines, dryers, sinks for washing up, and kettles plus plug points in large for conservatory, very handy. Small pop up café open from 9am, even out of season (Wed onward). Egg & bacon roll with mug of tea was a nice treat to wake up to. Good honest camping, clean, tidy and good value for money. We'll call again when we're in the area.

Beautiful location! You can see the sea, beautiful sunrise moment we had with the view. When you enter, there's a park to your left which my 2 children got straight out for. They loved it even though it was small, that's all they needed and thrived off, haha. Next to that was 2 beautiful horses, on the right was the block of showers/toilets. Very clean and a lot of them. Connected to that was the café which had 2 guys cooking up some yummy food, smelt amazing, we didn't eat there as already ate down in Falmouth town (10 minute drive) but we definitely will on our next visit :) It was a big field, all the electric pitches looked packed up. The non-electric pitches, you can just pitch anywhere and there was so much space! The sheep were free roaming the fields, which me and my children absolutely loved. There's cows there too so in the morning, it's just a musical of animals, haha. Lovely stay and will come back again.

Had a great time away with the kids. Relaxed management, freedom to choose your own pitch. All the amenities are there, loos, showers and a laundry room. Onsite cafe was amazing and reasonably priced. Highly recommended by our family x

Not the best campsite I've ever stayed at, not the worse. Was pretty basic but nothing special, it is literally a field with a few toilets.

The campsite was easy to find, it had great views of the sea. There was a lovely playground area for the children. Facilities were basic, and would benefit from more frequent cleaning during busy times.

Lovely campsite. Small park, ponies and sheep. VERY windy! Toilets and showers were fine. Nice little cafe on site that sells bacon baps, pizza and other bits.

Just loved the place, has a decent size café. The staff were warm and welcoming, the showers and toilets where clean enough and decent. The pitch sizes where big enough to fit a tent, awning, gazebo and 2 cars. Farm animals and kids area to keep the little ones entertained. Would highly recommend. 👌

A decent campsite that served us well for our 5-night stay. All the essentials are provided and the pitches are mostly flat. Would consider coming back.

This campsite is in a fantastic location - not only do you get beautiful views of the ocean, but it's a short drive away from great attractions: Swanpool Beach, Trebah Gardens, Falmouth Town Center and only 40 minutes from Lizard Point. The owners were super friendly and very laid back. The facilities are okay, providing you with what you need - toilets, showers, water, washing up space and even washers/dryers (small fee). I saw the toilets getting cleaned regularly. Spiders are about, but it's a working farm, so they are as at home here as the sheep and don't take away from the niceness of the stay.

Beautiful view, close to Falmouth and Helston, but within a quiet rural nook itself. Easy to get to main transport routes but also, plenty to do nearby. A few more sinks in the ladies or a better layout wouldn't go a miss (based in a corner location and quite tight to use when busy) and the showers were on the cooler side for my personal preference. The washing up area was always clean but no hot water on tap and queuing to use a kettle to boil water to wash up at busy times was a little frustrating, but nothing leaving the washing up until later didn't solve. We had a lovely stay here and will probably return (we visit family in the area, so need a good camping base we know we'll like for when we come). The field is on a bit of a slope, so bring your vehicle ramps if applicable and there is sheep mess everywhere (hard to dodge in late night toilet runs) but it's worth it for the view!

This is a lovely campsite set in rural surroundings. It has a wonderful café providing hot reasonably priced food, the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a small play area for children, and laundry facilities. The toilets and showers are cleaned twice daily, sometimes more when the weather is bad, and they are spotless. The showers are difficult to manage as there is a push button which only releases about 5 seconds of water before it needs pushing again. An improvement would be to enlarge the size of the play area, and increase the water flow timing of the showers.
Basic campsite with distant views

The site is in a large field with distant views of Falmouth Bay. There is no reception, you just drive in having pre-booked. So there was no welcome from the owners, or any control on site as far as we could work out. The facilities were basic and functional. The "café" was a concrete floored barn with some plastic patio furniture serving burgers and breakfasts. The chemical disposal was stomach churning. I would not recommend this site.

Easy to find and electric hook up spaces clearly marked. Pictures make it look more spacious in this area than it actually is. Lovely views across fields to the sea. Long but good walk to village and nearest beach. Campers adhered to quiet rules after 10:30pm. Shower block could do with refurbish but lots of hot water. Also, good to have the cafe there when needed. Owners clearly working hard to keep it going.

We had a fantastic week at this campsite, we will definitely use it again. A great base for going round different places in this area, and only just over an hour away from lands end.
