Pitton Cross is a quiet family run site, beautifully located, only a mile and a half from Rhossili village and its award winning beach. Open all year round, you can explore Gower, with spacious tent pitches with or without electric, hardstandings for caravans, motorhomes and campervans. The Welsh Coastal Path can be accessed from the back of the site. Dog friendly and ideal for families and couples.

Why you'll love it at Pitton Cross Caravan and Camping Park

About the site

Passed down through generations of a family who have lived on Gower for over 300 years, this is a very well established site which began welcoming campers in the 1960s. The scenic coastline is within easy walking distance from your pitch, and it's also only a mile from the village of Rhossili, with amenities for all those little extras. Choose between grass and hardstanding pitches, both offering the option of 10 amp electric with sea views. Unfortunately, the site isn't suitable for twin axle caravans or large groups of more than three pitches. A play park is situated onsite and also there is Disc Golf in another field where you can hire the discs (onsite customers only).

Dogs are welcome but they must be on a lead at all times even when at the pitch side and must pick up after your dogs.

The park is next to a farm which has livestock.

Ramsgrove cove is good for rock pooling, Mewslade and Fall Bay for body boarding and you'll find plenty of places to use buckets and spades!

Rhossili Beach is top for climbing, surfing, walking, and to see the historic Helvetia Shipwreck.

With Gower being a naturally dark area the stars at night are brilliant. You can even see the Milky Way on very clear nights if you are lucky. In this wonderful part of the world there are miles of walking opportunities so be sure to bring your walking boots.

Hang gliders can set off from the top of Rhossili Hill to see the spectacular view from a different viewpoint.

Fabulous pubs, hotel bars and bistros will offer you a taste of plenty of local food and drink.
