Dog friendly, and surrounded by plenty of outdoor activities, this site is perfect for exploring the North Highlands.
About Gruinard Bay Caravan Park
This peaceful site looks out directly onto the shore, just outside the village of Laide. With a beach in front and the highlands behind, the views are truly breath-taking. Just along the North Coast 500 route, it's the perfect spot to stop on your trip around Highlands Coastline. A small fishing area runs next to the park, which is free for your use. To explore nature further, sea-life cruises are available, departing from the nearby Gairloch harbour, and involve seal, dolphin and whale watching. Grassy and hardstanding pitches for both RVs and tents are also offered. Electric hookups and fresh water are available at points throughout the site. Static caravans, complete with a fully-stocked kitchen and bathroom, are also available to rent. Dogs are welcome.

Sea-life cruises from nearby Gairloch harbour offer seal, dophin and whale watching - as well as trips to the Summer Isles.
Shopping can also be done in the nearby towns of Gairloch and Ullapool, with museums and boat trips too.
The National Trust sub-tropical Inverewe Gardens at Poolewe boasts hundreds of species of plants, shrubs and trees.
