About Ty Llewelyn Glamping and Camping
Surrounded by rolling hills and riverside walks, this relaxed off-grid site offers the perfect opportunity to switch off. Within a 45 minute drive of Snowdonia National Park and Aberystwyth, the site also offers plenty of opportunities for adventures nearby. Take a dip in the river onsite perfect for a paddle or cold water plunge! For tents and campervans, the site offers five grass and three hardstanding non electric pitches. Each pitch is situated within 14 acres of picturesque parkland and comes with its own fire pit and picnic bench. The hardstanding pitches even have the added bonus of a hammock for chilling out in the trees. The camping pitches have access to a shared toilet, Elsan point and washing facilities with free hot showers. If glamping is more your style, you will also be well catered for. The Lotus Belle Tents can each accommodate up to five with a double bed, double inflatable bed and a sofa bed. They come kitted out with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including an outdoor cooking area, pots, pans, utensils, a fire pit, a picnic bench and an eco loo. Guests may use the shared free hot showers. Also sleeping up to five are the three safari tents. The tents include a double bedroom with a single bunk, along with a bunk bedroom. There is a spacious living area for unwinding with a board game, fitted with a sofa, kitchen, dining table and chairs. A private ensuite will also include your eco loo and shower. For relaxing in the open, there is a veranda with seating, along with a fire pit and even an outdoor bath, the perfect place to enjoy a glass of bubbly! Bed linen and towels are included in the safari tent but not in the Lotus Belle Tents. You may add this as an extra when you book. Up to two four-legged friends can join you on each of the pitches and in the Lotus Belle Tents. Please note, the safari tents are pet free. BBQs are permitted as long as they are supervised at all times.
Both bell and safari tents are available from the 4th of April. Bell tents close on the 29th of September, and safari tents close on the 3rd of November.

Furnished lotus belle tents equipped with a double bed, sofa bed and inflatable double bed. Bedding is an optional extra. There is an outdoor cooking area with utensils, pots, pans, a fire pit. Private compost loo nearby. Dogs are welcome.
3 x Safari Tents
Max 5 people
Fully furnished safari tents with a double room with a single bunk and a bunk bedroom. Bedding included. Indoor living area, an equipped kitchen and ensuite with eco loo and shower. Outside is a fire pit, picnic bench and an outdoor bath. Sorry, no pets.

Things to do on site and in the Llanidloes area
You will not be short of scenic walking routes. The Elan Valley Waterfall Trail is a 30 minute drive away, also along the National Cycle Route 81. Be sure to take along a picnic and camera to capture the scenery! Or why not venture around the site and have a dip in the river.
Aberystwyth is only a 45 minute drive from the site and offers plenty to see and do. The beach is the perfect spot for a sunny day, whilst the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway and Vale of Rheidol Railway provide a relaxing way to see the local sights.
If you want to have a unique experience, then take a trip to Valley View Falconry (25 minutes). Get up close and personal with majestic owls and hawks, with them even landing on your glove.
