About The Mushroom Farm and Campsite
Escape daily life at this totally off grid mushroom farm, set on the edge of an 11 acre reserve. With large areas left to rewild you'll enjoy your stay admiring the local wildlife, from songbirds, red kites and kestrels to lizards, rabbits and muntjac deer to just name a few! Offering authentic old school camping but with a little bit of luxury, stay in one of three canvas tents, the bell tent, the pioneer tent or the retro tent. Both the bell tent and the pioneer tent sleep four across a comfortable double bed and two camp beds, which are ideal for children. The retro tent also sleeps up to four but has two cotton inter tents which both have a double mattress inside. All tents have an outside campfire area with a picnic table, fire pit, a cooking shelter, gas stove, kitchen utensils and crockery. As well as benefiting from private, eco-friendly facilities with a bucket shower and compost toilet. Bedding and towels are also provided. Sorry, dogs are not permitted on the site. It's worth noting that due to being on a mushroom farm some areas are left wild and unmaintained which results in flowering thistles and uneven ground.
Open from 1 August to 29 August
