Pre arrival communication was very good. However, on arrival, things not so good. Our pitch was taken and the camp office was closed. Had to call the out of hours number where the lady could not find our booking. She did find us an alternative pitch within the family enclosure. The pitch itself was ok and well kept. There is only one toilet/shower block which was very dirty mid evening. Both men's and ladies' showers had grass in the showers, dental floss in the sink in the ladies'. Clearly they had not been cleaned in some time. It was even more disappointing that in the morning, they were in a worse state and clearly no signs of a cleaner. We expected them to have been cleaned! The food and service from the café was very good. the cleanliness lets it down massively.

Site not secure, gate left open all night, bins overflowing. Bathroom facilities need deep clean, didn't see any staff doing anything on the site. Advertised as a hardstanding pitch but was grass not level. Rubbish left from previous campers not tidied up, more expensive than best CMC sites. Later entry than most other sites. Just comes across as supplying bare minimum but charging top dollar for it. Won't be returning.

The pitch was great and immediate electric. Easy to find the site and to locate our pitch. No human interaction but that's fine for us, we didn't need any help. The cafe was handy for a coffee, others seemed to use it for more but we cooked in our tent. The farm shop was hardly open which was a shame as it looked like they sold some nice wine! Toilets/showers and dishwashing facilities were all clean and plentiful. Location good for beaches and local grocery shops if you need them.

Spotless, cosy and comfortable. Included tea and coffee and kettle, which was a lovely bonus as was expecting just a bed! If I was to pick any tiny criticism, it would be that it would have been useful to know about there being tea and coffee making facilities and table and chairs beforehand, as we packed these extra. No big deal of course, and it means we know for next time. Cannot rate highly enough, had the most relaxing and peaceful stay. Shower block was wonderful too.
Fantastic stay would come again

This was our first camping experience. Very little contact with staff needed, polite when did speak to them. The cafe is a separate company and you can go there even if not staying. It was the most amazing food and good value. Thankfully, as the weather meant outside cooking was a bust for me.
Lovely site

Had a lovely stay, nice peaceful site. A bit out from places to walk to, but that didn't bother us too much. Plenty of space per pitch and site seemed well maintained. The kids loved seeing the rabbits and hare on site, if they were quiet enough not to scare them away!
Lovely campsite with good facilities

This is the second time we have stayed here and it's a great site. The facilities are good, nice showers and toilets and private sinks for washing. There's a huge space in the middle so plenty of room for ball games etc. There's also a playpark for the kids to enjoy. There is a small shop and a café. However, the café is currently closed, which is a shame as I understand it offers great breakfasts. It's only a 10 minute drive to the beach and there are shops/pubs nearby. Really recommend this great site.

It was amazing but we felt it was too quiet and there was no play hall.

Very clean and tidy place. Facilities were all very clean and shop had everything we needed. The only downfall is the location being on top of a hill so it's very windy at all times. Other than that, very nice campsite.
Happy little site

Nice campsite with everything you need. Most things are clearly signposted. Plenty of space to pitch. Occasionally, there was a smell of drains from somewhere. The park is safe and secure with a great space for children to play. Slightly exposed to the weather.

Really lovely site. Large pitches and well set out. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and plentiful toilets, showers and washing up area. Plenty of drinking water taps. Only 10 mins drive to beach and we walked 40 mins to a lovely pub with great food and friendly staff (The Denbigh). Site highly recommended and we'll definitely be back.

Nothing really wrong with this campsite as such. Bins are nowhere near the elsan points, or the washing up area. Couldn't just do things without doubling back on yourself. The shower block was OK, but can't change the water temp, I prefer cooler water to my partner. Also the café was closed, not sure if would've used it in such a short stay, but it was advertised so would've been nice to have the option. They had nice big pitches though, ours was fully serviced.
Positively surprised

The campsite is an absolutely wonderful place to spend time in nature. Good location, friendly staff and good facilities make this place ideal for camping and travel enthusiasts. I highly recommend this campsite to anyone who wants to disconnect from everyday life and fully enjoy the charms of nature.

Beautiful location, surrounded by fields. Staff were friendly, helpful and to hand when and if required. The café was easy accessible, with a very good menu, breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas, (although I did not use it this time round). Facilities were some of the best I have come across and I have done a lot of camping. They were clean and spacious. The pod was very clean and for what I wanted, the price was very good. Highly recommended, and will use again.

Hugely disappointed that the café was not open as the chef was on holiday. Would've been nice to have been told. Hard standings had grass which had been cut leading to grass being walked into the caravan. Further walk to the beach than I expected. Will not be staying here again unfortunately.

Would have been 5 star but although we booked a hard standing, the pitch we were allocated was grass.
