About Higher Bochym Caravan Motorhome and Camping Site

This is a small family-run farm site, situated on the Lizard Peninsula, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Close to Mullion village and just 3 miles from Poldhu Beach and the coastal path. There are six fully serviced all weather pitches set on grass in Bochym Pasture. These come equipped with 16-Amp electric, water, waste, and individual chemical emptying points. Suitable for touring units that measure no larger than 10m x 3m. Additionally, there are five fully serviced hardstanding pitches exclusively for Caravan and Motorhome Club members. These are again fully serviced with 16-Amp electric, water, and grey water waste points and take touring units up to 10m x 3m. Spacious in size, there are at least 13 metres between each pitch. Accessible via a gravelled road, these stay open all year. The farm stocks Cornish free-range eggs and sells award-winning bacon from Primrose herd, traditionally reared rare breed pigs, for that all-important holiday breakfast! Dogs are welcome and you'll find lovely walks such as the wooded valleys of the Helford River, Tremayne Quay and Frenchman's Creek. Sorry, no fire pits. BBQs are permitted but must be raised from the ground.

Members only pitches are available year-round, while Bochym pitches (open to all) are available from Easter to October.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Certificated Location)Aug 2022

What a little gem. Lovely quiet location overlooking countryside. The friendly owner greeted us with a welcome pack which held information about the area, including some fresh eggs and homemade jam. Lovely surprise! Pitch was fully serviced and we could put our van into any position that suited. Would recommend this 5* site.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced All Weather PitchesJun 2022

Great site, loved the peaceful location and fully serviced pitch. Nice, unexpected welcome gift on arrival. Only minor downside is that you have to drive to locations, as roads not really suitable to walk into Mullion. Fabulous area, we will return.

Explore Poldark Mine with an underground tour soaking up the mining history or, if you've come for the beach, the Lizard Peninsula is packed with seaside gems including Church Cove (5.3 miles) and Kynance Cove (6 miles) nearby.

You'll be staying at the heart of the beautiful and unspoilt Lizard Peninsula where there are some lovely walks including the wooded valleys of the Helford River, Tremayne Quay and Frenchman's Creek.

A lovely nature walk goes the full circumference of the adjacent 10 acre field and is a top spot to see barn owls, nightingales, and badgers. Meanwhile, after dark, for those who like stargazing, the site has fantastic dark skies enabling you to see the Milky Way without a telescope.

Cadgwith fishing village is charming for a taste of Cornwall and the nearby Kynance Cove and Church Cove are seaside havens. It would be wrong not the try some of the local creamy ice cream, so Roskilly's Ice cream and Organic farm is a perfect stop for families in the area.

Poldark Mine is your chance to uncover some of Cornwall's fascinating history. This is tin mining country and Poldark offers interesting underground tours.

Blue Pointer Charter cater for private bookings for groups of up to 10 people on the Helford River in West Cornwall. Staff can pick up from either side of the river, making the site easily accessible from the Lizard Peninsula or central Cornwall.
