About Honeypot Hideaways

There are just three adult only (16+) pods on site, expertly crafted using sustainable Siberian larch via a local company. The boutique features of the interior make them a cosy home from home with comfy double beds, a TV, kitchen and central heating. Each also has a full ensuite with a shower. Outside is your own personal patio area with a picnic table, reclining chairs and a BBQ, all with acres of farm land right in front of you - no cars, buses or roads - just the sound of birdsong. It has all the advantages of camping and the outdoors, but in comfort and style. Make sure to bring your own towels but apart from that, everything else is provided. On your doorstep are bridleways, cycling trails and footpaths, as well as tracks in the hills, a lake, forests or beaches (being so close to the A55, the north Wales coast is 45 minutes' drive or so from the site). It is a relaxed and peaceful site for adults but accompanied children over 16 are permitted. The sofa opens out into a bed for a 3rd guest. The site discourages loud music or those seeking a more party atmosphere in respect of other guests enjoying the peaceful tranquility of the nature around them.

Honeypot Hideaways is open from 01/03 to 31/10.

A note from the site themselves...

We have been living at Elmfield Farm, the home of Honeypot Hideaways, for over 20 years. Having worked in the hustle and bustle of the 'Rat Race' all our lives, we know the pressure this puts on all our daily lives.

Knowing what a relief it is to get away from it all back at our simple farm in the countryside, our vision of sharing our love for the area evolved and Honeypot Hideaways was created.

Camping Pod - PodsJun 2022

Very quiet location. Hosts are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Entrance off road is a little hidden but trust the postcode, it works. Would recommend to others (just remember to bring your own towels)!

Site's response

Many thanks for taking time to review Honeypot Hideaways. We really enjoyed having you stay and look forward to seeing you in the future. Thank you for the point on the towels - we feel these are very personal items so we do communicate with our guests to bring their own, but we hope we provided everything else you could possibly have needed for your weekend away with us. Adrienne and Simon.

Camping Pod - PodsJun 2022

Our stay at Honeypot hideaways was gorgeous. Our arrival was quick and easy, and we were quickly greeted by both Simon and Adrienne who were lovely! They gave us a BBQ and told us about the local area and shops. The glamping pod was gorgeous and kitted out with all the essentials. We were even gifted complimentary prosecco and cake. Overall we had a lovely stay and enjoyed day trips to Snowdonia and Chester. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone wanting a relaxing quiet weekend away!
