VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesMar 2025
Online booking, arrival and check in all easy. Friendly welcome and information. Stayed one night on hardstanding pitch with hook up which was perfect. Very quiet scenic spot. We went to restaurant for evening meal which was excellent and the service was also good in nice surroundings.
Breakfast was also very good. Toilet and shower facilities near by were modern and very clean.
The park is in a great location for exploring the local area and will definitely return.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesFeb 2025
The location is great, great hikes nearby. However, water pipes had frozen so no access to water. We were provided with a keycard to the facilities that did not work and the electric on our pitch didn't work either - which, after a lot of messing around we ended up plugging in to another pitch.
The reception was shut from 4pm to 9.30am, so we had no access to facilities for that time due to our faulty keycard.
Gondola and all lifts were shut the entire time we were there and we spoke to others who had been there multiple days with everything being shut with the promise it would open soon, shocking considering mid February. Seems like a good place for mountain biking but skiing or snowboarding I wouldn't bother.
Plenty of free places to stay overnight nearby to enjoy the area.
