Why you'll love it at LeoBay

About the site

Whether it's for a single night or a longer stay, you will be more than comfortable here, looked after by owners who have been campers themselves for well over thirty years. This is an independent, owner run site with a relaxed atmosphere. For example, Sheila has created amazing gardens and spacious pitches for you to enjoy. It's the sort of site where everyone can get together and chat in the evenings over a glass or two of wine, so you'll find a truly warm welcome here. The location was carefully chosen to offer great views and amazing sunsets, although the approach to the site is somewhat industrial at the moment, the whole area is undergoing a transformation, with a new marina very soon. A selection of hardstanding pitches make the site ideal for all weathers too.

5 x Hardstanding Pitches

Each pitch is hardstanding, with its own grass area for you to use and flanked by a range of mature trees. Access is easy and manoeuvring on and off the pitch is easy too!

All dogs must be kept on a lead while on site.

All children must be accompanied by an adult when in the shower block.

No campfires on the pitches.

BBQs are allowed but must be up off the grass please.

We prefer that you don't use a ground sheet as this can affect the grass, we don't want it damaged as we only have 5 pitches.

Electricity is 10-Amp, so if you need to use an electric heater please tell inform the site before using it.

This site is somewhere to relax and watch the world go by. It's all about taking it easy, surrounded by lovely gardens, carefully planned to make you feel at home.

Local attractions include many pubs and restaurants within a 20 minute walk, which all serve good food. Just up the road is the Morrison's supermarket, and you will also find Iceland, a factory shop and Sports Direct, so your needs are well catered for!

A bit further afield there is Bluetown, with one of the very best garden centres. The Bluetown Museum is well worth a visit, as is the historic Minster Abbey, and the little church at Harty where you will find a truly excellent pub at Hearty Ferry!

Let's not forget Sheerness High Street, a step back in time, it's been the same for years!

The stunning Elmley Nature Reserve is also just 15 minutes away, and is a fantastic day out.
