About Stonehenge Campsite and Glamping Pods
This site offers excellent camping, motorhome and glamping facilities, closest to the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge. It is thoughtfully laid out in a woodland setting with a range of accommodation options to suit any budget. For campers and tourers, there is the chance to enjoy spacious open fields in woodland peace in the company of fantastic wildlife. The site is something special in that it offers campfires, and there are four fixed campfire pits and six mobile pits on site. Electric hook-ups for tents and VW campers are optional, and these must be requested when booking. Pitches for RVs, motorhomes, and caravans have 16 amp electric and water access. Alternatively, glampers can experience the comfort of heated luxury glamping and ease your family and friends into the great outdoors. All the pods offer either solar or standard electric power and cosy insulation from the cold. You'll find four private, cosy, heated, insulated and furnished luxury glamping pods that sleep 3 or 4. There are two more simple value pods - bring your bedding and make yourself at home. Dogs are allowed in some luxury pods, but one simple festival pod offers a private dog pod, and the festival pod allows dogs to cosy up outside in a kennel pod. The bell tent is perfect for families, sleeping 4-5. It offers electricity and basic kitchen equipment in beautiful surroundings. Bell tent hire is also available, suitable for larger families who will receive a spacious 4 or 5 metre tent. These are complete with cosy floors and a range of sleeping options. The tent will be pre-erected and taken down for you so that you can relax.
Open all year with full facilities from Easter until the end of the October half term. Between 1st of November and the 29th of March the site only uses hardstanding plots, showers and facilities are open all year.

Bronze pitches are basic hard standing, suitable for campervans or motorhomes up to 8m in length. Each pitch includes electric with a grass section and picnic bench.
Silver Hardstanding Pitches
Max 6 people
These pitches are located in the lower section of the site, with electric hook up, water taps close by, a picnic bench and grass area. Each pitch is given privacy with hedges. Suitable for motorhomes, caravans, campervans and RV's. Pitch length does vary.
Gold Hardstanding Pitches
Max 8 people
Situated behind a private gate on site, these extra wide pitches accommodate a unit and awning. With drainage, water, EHU and grass area with picnic bench. Suitable for units up to 9m in length.

Things to do on site and in the Salisbury area
The site is perfect for stargazing, so bring a book or download a stargazing app onto your phone and set the children a challenge to find their star sign. You'll be gazing over fields where dairy cows wander on the Druids Lodge estate and there are often doormice, rabbits and hares all around.
Walking, good local pubs and buses to Salisbury are available directly from the site. You'll be surrounded by lovely walks and all the fun of Wiltshire and over the Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset borders.
The main attraction is of course Stonehenge, only 3 miles away and an incredible wonder. You'll have the chance to unravel the mystery of its construction at the attached visitor centre.
Local bus services run from the campsite entrance and can help you reach the sandy beaches of Bournemouth, the Roman Pump Rooms and Spa of Bath and the New Forest National Park.
Your new home is well situated for the Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival, exploring the National Trust Stonehenge Landscape, Salisbury Cathedral and the Magna Carta plus the Chalke Valley History Festival.
You won't want to miss Longleat, the UK's top safari park, which is near at hand in Warminster and has a superb array of animals.
