If you're looking to combine simplicity with luxury, look no further than these cosy shepherd's huts - perfect for a romantic retreat or a family break. Set in beautiful meadows and overlooking the Crai River, you'll find three shepherd's huts all with bedding, kitchen/dining areas and outside decking. One even includes a hot tub! They each have their own ensuite bathroom with shower inside. You'll also enjoy the benefits of some truly dazzling starry nights as the site sits in the heart of the Brecon Beacons International Dark Sky Reserve. Why not snuggle up by your campfire and gaze at the evening spectacle? One dog is welcome per booking.

The Mallard shepherd's hut includes a wood fired hot tub, double bed with ensuite bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. Small fitted kitchen, dining area, wood burning stove and underfloor heating. There's also an outside decking area.
The Orient Express

The Orient Express shepherd's hut includes double bed with ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. In the loft, you'll find a second double bed. There's also a kitchen and dining area, wood burning stove, underfloor heating and decking area.
The Flying Scotsman
Max 4 people
The Flying Scotsman includes double bed (second double bed in the loft), dining and kitchen area, wood burning stove and underfloor heating. Outside you'll find the decking area with furniture and BBQ. Bed linen and towels provided.

Things to do on site and in the Crai area
Bike hire is available onsite for those keen to cycle through some of the Brecons' scenery. You're close to some of the park's highlights here, from the lifelike dinosaurs and mysterious caves at the National Showcaves Centre to mountain walks along Pen y Fan.
Take in the landscape in style aboard the Brecon Mountain Railway, bring the kids to meet the animals at Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary or enjoy scenic walks along the Usk Reservoir.
