Located right on the edge of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons, Church Cottage is a small, family-run caravan and camping site. Pitches here are booked on a seasonal basis, and the site offers electric gravel hardstanding pitches, lovely clean facilities and a relaxed atmosphere. It's a family and dog friendly space, five minutes from famous walking trails such as Offa's Dyke - so ideal for touring hikers.
About Church Cottage Caravan and Camping
This site is set in the middle of the quaint village of Llanvetherine, close to a brook and beside a historic church. All around you there are incredible mountains and countryside, but it's only a short drive to the bustling nearby town of Abergavenny. This is a perfect setting for those keen to discover the Black Mountains and sightsee around the ancient kingdom of Gwent. Electric gravel hardstanding pitches are suitable for caravans, campervans and motorhomes, all with EHU. Please note that the site offers seasonal pitches only, however there is an area for walkers to pitch tents.

Site rules and policies
Site Rules
Check in between 1pm-6pm
Check out between 9am-12pm.
Courtesy and consideration for other guests and our neighbours is paramount.
Max driving speed on site is 5mph
Noise is to be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10pm and 9am
Only low level lighting is permitted on the site (the night sky can be amazing from the site)
We reserve the right to remove any person(s) deemed to be acting in a manner not befitting the standards we strive to maintain. This will be enforced.
All visitors must make us aware of their presence on site.
Max one car per pitch unless otherwise agreed.
We accepts no responsibility for damage or theft of any property, including vehicles, caravans and contents thereof.
Dogs are to be kept on leads at all times, persistent barking dogs need to be kept in or under control. Owners must be responsible for cleaning up dog mess and a specific dog waste bin is located in waste area.
All rubbish & waste, ECT must be disposed of at the refuge area. Pease recycle where possible.
Grey and chemical waste to be kept separately and deposed of at the correct disposal points provided
No open fires.
No fireworks / lanterns.
BBQ's to be kept off the grass. A specific ash bin is provided in waste area.
No ball games (we are a small site, sorry)
The Gate will be shut at 10pm and open at 8am.
In event of a fire please follow the fire regulations detailed at the fire point, please familiarise yourself with these on arrival.
All units to be positioned to the left hand side of the pitch.
When entering or leaving the site with a caravan/motorhome, you are advised to do so in the Abergavenny direction of the B4521, there are turning limitations if you attempt to do so on the Ross-on-Wye side.
Things to do on site and in the Abergavenny area
Right from the site entrance you'll find many beautiful walks - there is a footpath that will lead you to the Offa's Dyke trail and the tempting Three Castles Walk.
The best preserved of the castles, White Castle or Llantilio Castle, is a 15 minute walk and a definite must see. Everything is perfectly located for those happy hikers!
The Brecon Beacons are just a stone's throw away, too, offering spectacular views. There are a huge number of paths and trails for walkers, runners, cyclists, mountain bikers, horse riders and wildlife watchers in the area.
