The Isle of Gigha Camp and Motorhome Site is set on the glorious sandy Ardminish Bay on the Isle of Gigha. This welcoming site offers grass and hardstanding pitches, with the added bonus of electric for motorhomes. With gorgeous views and beaches, the Isle of Gigha offers plenty to explore, and a landscape to get lost in. Arrive off the ferry and be prepared to unwind. There are also eateries to enjoy within a ten minute walk!

About Isle of Gigha Camp and Motorhome Site
This welcoming site is nestled in Ardminish Bay, with stunning views and sandy beaches. Here, the site embraces the wild terrain of the island, with pitches tucked away behind hillocks and in between beautiful rocks. There are a total of three hardstanding pitches for campervans and motorhomes up to 7m in length. Each pitch is 8m long and also comes with the added bonus of a 10 amp hook up, allowing up to six people. Caravans are not permitted on the ferry, so cannot get onto the site. For tents and campervans, there are a further 19 pitches each without electric. The site is perfect for families, couples and solo travellers looking to get away from the rush and noise of everyday life, a chance to switch off, get back to nature and chill out! Next door to the ferry ramp and the beach, the site makes for the perfect base for exploring the island. Within a ten minute walk you will also find many delicious eateries serving fresh seafood. For keen walkers, there are also many wonderful routes to explore. For evenings onsite, there is a communal fire pit to enjoy, and raised charcoal BBQs are welcome too. Dogs are welcome onsite, just please keep them on the lead at all times.

Small, non electric grass pitches suitable for tents only, approximately 3m x 3m . Please note that some pitches are on a slight slope. There is no vehicle access to these pitches.

Hardstanding for campervans and motorhomes up to 7m in length with 10 amp electric hook-up (pitch is 8m long).

Hardstanding pitches suitable for campervans up to 6m in length, each pitch has a small area of grass to the side of their pitch. Please note, that there is uneven ground that may not be suitable for all vehicles.

Hardstanding pitches with 10 amp electric hook up, a cable of at least 15m is required. There is a small area of grass to the side of each pitch, suitable for campervans and motorhomes up to 6m.

Things to do on site and in the Ardminish area
Ardminish Bay, which lies across the road from the campsite, provides silver sands to picnic on and turquoise waters to paddle and swim in.
Opposite the campsite is the Gigha Boats Activity Centre where mountain bikes, e-bikes and kayaks can be hired for exploring the island. Paths have been built that are perfect for cycling and walking away from the road and getting into the wilderness to see some of the local wildlife.
A 9-hole golf course is located a 20 minute walk (or five minute cycle) from the campsite, or in the other direction there's Achamore Gardens, established by Colonel Sir James Horlick and home to a renowned rhododendron and camelia collection.
A fabulous array of supplies, including freshly made coffee and gifts, can be purchased at the Ardminish Stores, a ten minute walk from the campsite and just around the corner from the store is Gigha Gallery Gifts where a selection of items crafted on the island are for sale.
The food offering on Gigha is second to none - fabulous fish suppers are available from The Nook at the Stores, and the Boathouse offers a fresh seafood fine dining experience you'll remember for a long time - all are within walking distance of the campsite.
