Halfway between Wick and Thurso, Ferry View offers the perfect base to discover everything Caithness has to offer. There is an onsite takeaway, doing a selection of meals for breakfast lunch and dinner, along with a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks, including bottles of Scottish beers, wines and ciders. The site is also home to a quirky bus, a place to sit and relax, play board games, read a selection of books, have a coffee and take a look at the artwork for sale, handcrafted onsite in the Artist's Workshop. For those feeling a bit more active, the site has a games area with Giant Jenga, Swingball and other games to play. The owners are previous tour guides, meaning they have a wealth of local knowledge between them and are more than happy to share their knowledge and provide you with information if you need it.
