About Wigwam Holidays Moffat
This gem is set on 100 acres of enticing countryside, with access to Forestry Commission land too. Perfect for outdoor adventures, exploring nature and soaking up the site's quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Every pod has its own unique view, and the views are well worth travelling for. Access is easy thanks to the M6 and M74 which take you close to where you need to be and the bustling town of Dumfries is only 25 miles away. Inside your charming Wigwam pod you'll be treated to both a double bed and a comfy double sofa bed, along with your own ensuite facilities. A fully fitted and petite kitchenette is ideal for when you're feeling peckish with its fridge, toaster, hot plates, utensils, microwave and kettle. All the pods have heating and electricity, plus a TV and DVD player for cosy nights in and dining table with chairs. Outside on the decking is a picnic bench so that you can watch the world go by and enjoy your fire pit with BBQ. A maximum of two dogs per Wigwam are welcome to join you.

Take a stroll to the pretty hillside view point and picnic bench on site and you're sure to get an appetite for enjoying the great outdoors.
Spinning your wheels on mountain biking trails, zooming around the 7Stanes routes or even walking the Southern Upland Way are all great ways to get active.
And if you'd rather hit the water, St Mary's Loch is a popular sailing spot, plus there's a river for fishing back at base - well stocked with brown trout.
The local town of Moffat was the first town in Europe to be awarded Dark Sky status, making it a stargazer's paradise, so be sure to spend a night out under the wonders of the sky.
