Perfect

I wish I could give more stars to be honest. Stayed in the Bluebell Pod, which has its own Gazebo, a very nice touch. All pods have a seating area outside and grills too. The pods themselves were well stocked with all the essentials - microwave, kettle, toaster, mugs, plastic cups and more. Hot tub was absolutely amazing, very big and comfortable. Cleanliness was a great standard especially considering it's in the countryside. Lindsay, the host was so warm and welcoming, great at recommending things to do in the surrounding area. Thank you, would definitely stay again.

Perfect stay

Absolutely fantastic stay in the most beautiful location. We chose this site as it was one of the very few sites that did 1 night stay rather than minimum of 2. The 4 of us girls stayed in the Bluebell Pod, which was so cute and had everything you need, plus a hot tub. But what we didn't know was that it had a beautiful gazebo setting with lounge area. We had planned to go out but it was too beautiful & relaxing to leave. Hot tub, chatting and perfect location, we didn't need to go anywhere else. The host Lindsey was brilliant. Anything we needed she got and we could even check in earlier as we requested. Perfect weekend with beautiful weather. We will be back.

Absolutely fantastic

Beautiful retreat, quiet, friendly, immaculately clean. Service exceptional. Perfect for a getaway and to visit the local area. Every need is catered for and nothing is too much trouble for Lindsey.

Excellent and clean pod

The pod was super clean and well looked after. The location was perfect to pop into the town centre and any local pubs. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely experience

We stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it. Pods are clean and equipped. Lindsay was always available to help us if we had any questions. The pod are located is a nice area. It's peaceful and beautiful. I strongly recommend it. Thank you Lindsay :)

Glamping at it's best!

Stayed for a two night break, the pods were fantastic! Well presented, clean and cosy. Lindsey the host was great, friendly and helpful. Everything you could want in a short break package.

What an amazing place!

Wow!!! Just stayed at this amazing retreat & will definitely be returning. The pods cater for your every need from the underfloor heating down to the dog treats & blanket. The local village is a 10 minute walk where we found local pubs that are all dog friendly. A quiet frosty November evening & our beautiful fire pit was roaring. What an absolute idyllic place Southwell Retreat is. Lindsay was the perfect host! Our only disappointment was that we only stayed for one night...definitely one to re-book!!
