Stopped for one night on the way home from a week long camp. They fitted us in with an hour's notice, very helpful. Check-in was easy, food in the pub was delicious and reasonably priced. Swimming and park were small but well looked after. It's a shame other campers don't look after the place; not putting rubbish in the bins, walking across pitches and leaving used sanitary items in the showers. We will definitely return as our two year old loved it.

We had a pleasant stay and the location was perfect because we needed to get to Fenland Airstrip a couple of times. Very convenient location in view of going to a local airport a couple of times. The swimming pool was very useful for a dip. The site and management was very relaxed so a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Excellent site, lovely location, nice facilities. Only little concern is no cold tap in the toilet block.
Cheap and cheerful

A short stay for our family, and we enjoyed it. It's quite out of the way, but with a heated pool, a pub to get food & drink, a small park, plus plenty of field space for kids to run around on, it suited us to stay put and chill. The showers/toilets and pub are a bit dated. However, they were always clean and host/staff were all welcoming. We had 1 slight hiccup with food, that was resolved quickly and an extra side provided for inconvenience, service was good and food portions are massive 👌 It may have been nicer to not have to walk through the haze of cigarette smoke in conservatory area by rear door, but if you don't mind of a bit of an old school pub vibe, then its not a problem. If it is, then you could walk around front instead. The massive screen outside was a bonus to watch football on. Our son made friends very quickly and had a blast, he loved the park, pool and mighty burger. We enjoyed the relaxed quiet break and having a few pints, all at a very reasonable cost.

Great setting. Pitches are nice and flat with grass well looked after, even when we had 2 thunderstorms all the water just drained away. There is a small but well equipped playground. The indoor swimming pool was nice and warm, just what children needed on a rainy day. The shower block has only 3 showers and I think it could do with few more for the size of the campsite. Pub staff are ever so friendly, with a good choice of drinks and food. It has big screens and a games room. All in all, we had fab time. Definitely will recommend.

Lovely site in the proverbial middle of nowhere. Superb value for money and perfect venue for a couple of nights' stay. My 6 year old refused to leave the pool the entire weekend, which suited me fine as there was an excellent pint of Madri on tap from polite staff. There are a lot of wasps though, will be taking a trap with me next time to put at the entrance to the tent!

Brilliant family run campsite. My 6 year old loved the park and the space on the field near our tent. Great stay and we will be returning.

Disappointing site. Poor facilities, particularly for those who are disabled. Very noisy. The pub seems pleasant enough and the staff are friendly, however, it went downhill from there. Swimming pool is dirtier than one would hope and there are no showers linked to it, which doesn't help. If you are disabled, as I am, and want to shower, then this is not the place for you! The shower system is poor as you need to put money in to activate the water, it then takes at least the first minute to get hot water and set the temperature. There is a sign asking you to keep the facilities clean, but no means of doing this is provided - presumably you should bring your own mop and bucket! There is no waste water disposal point for motorhomes. The fresh water filling point has a prestex tap, so you have to hold it in the whole time! It is also not a quiet site, as people seem to have no consideration of other users and play music at volumes that can be heard throughout the site. While we were there, people were abusive and loud with total disregard for the young children on the site.

We have been here twice now each time we come to Lincolnshire to visit our Grandma. The swimming pool is a fab addition and the children love making friends at the little playground. The showers and toilets are a little bit run down but work well and are cleaned on a regular basis. Doughie who runs the site is very friendly and helpful if you need him. It's great value for money and would def return again.

Spent 3 nights over bank holiday at the site which isn't too far from home, just in case the weather wasn't good. Had a fantastic time! Few glasses of wine, food was good in the pub and the swimming pool was an extra bonus as it was heated. We will definitely be returning soon. I was surprised how big the site was. I think they could do with a few more toilets, although I didn't have to wait. They had two showers which they could do with more of, but again I didn't have to wait. All in all, food was fantastic, weather was great too and swimmming pool was a bonus. Will be back again soon. Definitely recommend.

First time staying here. Super campsite with added bonus of a pool to keep the kids entertained. Had to pay extra for showers, which was a bit of a pain. Pub on site which was fantastic.

A small quiet site with good working facilities. Located pretty much in the middle of nowhere which made for a nice peaceful stay. we were offered an alterntive pitch that allowed us to a view of the play park to watch our children enjoy themselves and we felt relatively safe to allow them additional freedom. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely site but shower and toilets need upgrading. Turned up on site and was shown our pitch, but no map of site and so we didn't know where the hook up was, toilet block, water tap, grey waste disposal, etc.

Stayed for the Easter weekend and enjoyed our trip. The site was clean and there was plenty of space on our pitch. The pub was good and the food we had was nice. The showers often had queues in the morning, could possibly do with another amenities block. We didn't use the pool or jacuzzi, but those that did looked to be enjoying it.

Nice place, if a little untidy round the edges, and nice staff. We didn't use the facilities as we just wanted a quiet, chilled time. Plenty of space around us.
Friendly and helpful, lots to do

This a great site for those with children of around twelve and under. It has a covered swimming pool and a games room with slot machines. It also has a pub which serves food almost daily. Thursday bingo was fun. Lots of room for children to play including a well equipped play area. It has places to sit outside the pub with music on sunny days. Lots to see in the area including the salt marsh walks and Spalding, which has a nice river walk and lovely park and nice nature reserves. We had our small well-behaved dog with us and were made to feel welcome in all areas. The only downside was that the pub is a bit dated in decor, and it's all a bit basic and rustic. Amenities were tired and could do with some TLC. The advertised hot tub was not functional and had weeds growing in it. It is a very popular site and can get very busy on a Bank Holiday weekend, becoming crowded.
