We stayed overnight on our way up to Scotland from Wiltshire. It was handy, as it's close to A1, but tucked away in the Fen to make it feel remote and quiet. It's a lovely little spot and well laid out.
Lovely hosts, peaceful location

Warm and welcoming friendly, helpful hosts. Flower-decked named pitches. Spacious pitches with picnic tables alongside. Twenty-five minute walk to pleasant pub serving very good food. Enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra night.

The site was exceptionally clean, it was well looked after, with superb pitches. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived and given a very informative pack. The site owners were so friendly, it was a real pleasure to stay on their site. This is the best CL site we have site stayed on, we will certainly go back and we will certainly recommend it.

No words can describe this beautiful little site. Mark and Tash, who own the site, cannot do enough for you. They are so very welcoming. We are treated like family. The site itself is spotlessly clean. Tash has a little craft area where you can buy items she has made from recycling. The site itself is quiet and peaceful. There are walks from the site into the village where there is a handy little shop, and a pub where the meals are really nice. This little site is certainly worth a visit, and I promise, you won't be disappointed.

A boutique site of 5 pitches (I think). Warm welcome on arrival with an offer to help us position caravan if needed. Our pitch had our names on a small blackboard next to a painted watering can of pansies! We overlooked calming farmland and small holdings and were lucky enough to see feeding hares and owls going about their business. Each pitch has EHU and a picnic table - BBQs are allowed. Owners provide a comprehensive info pack, complimentary bookmark and there's a wooden display unit selling homegrown plants and handmade items. It was all delightful! The site is gated with security coding so you feel safe when going off site. Newark is very close and worth a relaxed visit with a river trip to boot. Highly recommend this site.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We had a bit of a nightmare due to the incoming storm and the bad rain and wind! We booked this campsite as a stop by on our way to the Lincolnshire Wolds, we had travelled from South East London in a rented motor home. When we got to the campsite, the wind and rain had really started to pick up. We didn't realise our booking had been cancelled due to the field being swamped but Mark the owner let us park up on the hardstanding just in the gates. He was an absolute life saver, super helpful and really friendly! We had no food with us and had just missed the shops, he brought us round some rolls, bacon and eggs and some beer for the evening. He came round to check on us in the morning to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed an extension lead for our motorhome to plug in to the electric. We moved on the next day but would 100% be going back to stay again and would 100% recommend this campsite to anyone looking to stay in Lincolnshire! Beautiful countryside views and lovely owners 🥰

What a great little site. Maisie Mays is tucked out of the way down a lane in the Notts countryside. Although the location is nicely out-of-the-way, it is only a 5 minute drive to the nearest shop and pub, and about 15 minutes to Newark. When we arrived, there had been a tremendous amount of rain and the field was too soft and soggy for our car, but Mark was very helpful and grabbed his 4x4 track and expertly manoeuvred our caravan into place. We would have been well and truly stuck without the help. There are long views across the fields and the 5 pitches are nicely spaced apart. Mark and Natasha are great and very helpful. Top marks to this new site.

Mark and Michelle were very welcoming and it's dog friendly, a big plus for me. The site was clean and well laid out. The pitches were a nice size and you didn't feel squashed in with your neighbour. There are some nice touches which you can appreciate when you visit. I will definitely be booking again.

We stayed as a couple in our t4 a few days before our wedding. Having booked a spa day at nearby Eden Hall day spa. we arrived a bit late (outside of hours) and rung to explain. They we're totally understanding and Mark (we think?) came over in the rain to present us with the welcome pack and make sure we were all set up. Everything was really clean, we were made to feel welcome then left to our own devices! A perfect stay for us and would definitely stay again.
Tranquility!

We were welcomed by the very friendly owners Tasha and Mark who showed us the pitch and the facilities. Over the weekend they were both very helpful. Easy access to fresh water, bins, and grey/black waste. Well thought out site and very well kept with some pretty touches! Fab views over the fields with lots of wildlife to see. Had a lovely quiet walk to the pleasant village of Claypole which is roughly a mile on some very quiet roads with very little traffic. We had a fabulous relaxing weekend and will definitely be back!
