About Glentham Grange
From the breathtaking views of the Wolds to the abundance of wildlife, Glentham Grange is a peaceful place to park your tourer or pitch up a tent. Sorry, under 18s cannot stay here. The site has a mix of grass and all weather hardstanding pitches available for tourers, with electric hook-up available and water conveniently situated at alternate pitches. Access is nice and easy from the main road. The site pond can be seen from the gravel pitches, and it's a haven for the resident Muscovy ducks as well as a variety of birds. All pitches offer views of the either the site's charming lake or duck pond. Close to 11 acres of room allows for everyone to have lots of space and you'll share it with a selection of exciting wildlife - rabbits, hares, pheasants, partridges, barn owls (a breeding pair have been here for years and are a favourite with visitors) and perhaps even shy roe deer. Birdwatchers will find this the perfect spot, with a hosts of birds making the grange their home. Friendly chickens (Cilla, Penny, Poppy, Stella, Cardy B, Ginger, Geraldine, Marmalade, Phoebe, Monica and little Lucy), Freddie the cockerel and many ducks sometimes make noise on site, and often like to say hello to visitors. Please treat them as part of the family. Well behaved dogs are welcome to join you but must be supervised at all times and kept on a short lead due to free range animals on site.
