Hawthorn Farm is situated within 28 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens providing an air of tranquillity within some of the loveliest countryside in Kent. It's a perfect base for exploring Dover's white cliffs, watching the ferries go by and circling the beautiful Dover-Folkestone Heritage Coast.
About Hawthorn Farm
The site is situated within some of the loveliest countryside in Kent, in the pleasant village of Martin Mill which offers amenities and places to eat, just a short way from the south coast. Deal, Dover and Walmer are only a short drive away and of course this area is the main access point for trips over to Calais, the gateway to France. On offer are 200 touring pitches and 15 hardstanding areas. Premium pitches are available with services and EHUs, or standard pitches which offer back-to-basics camping on grass only with water supplied close by.

Site rules and policies
Hawthorn Farm Summary of Touring & Camping Rules
1. Should you fail to arrive on your initial date without prior notification, the park reserve the right to reallocate
your plot by noon the following day and your payment will be non-refundable.
2. All children must be supervised when using the parks facilities.
3. Children on cycles, skateboards, rollerblades etc must be supervised at all times.
4. We only allow clip on washing racks to be used on the park.
5. Ball games are not allowed between the caravans.
6. Please refrain from playing loud music to the annoyance of others, or after 10.00pm.
7. Barbecues are welcome, but must be raised from the ground.
8. Please keep your pet on its lead and do not allow it to foul the park. Only one pet is allowed unless prior
approval is granted.
9. Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon unless by prior arrangement with the office.
10. Bicycles should not be ridden continuously around the park to the annoyance of other park users.
11. Other than authorized trades people commercial vehicles are not permitted on the park.

Things to do on site and in the Dover area
On certain dates throughout the year Hawthorn Farm often holds activities in the park, which might include Easter egg hunts, and fun events for all the family.
The village of St Margaret's is 2 miles from the park with its walks on the white cliffs, so there's plenty of opportunities to explore. Next, join the Dover Bluebird Heritage Trail for a self-guided walk around the most important sights of the area with great wildlife and landmarks.
Nearby there are the towns of Deal, Dover and Walmer, each with their own castle and respective histories.
Take in Dover Western Heights, an amazing array of fortifications, built to out-smart Napoleon. Or step even further back in time with the Roman painted house in central Dover, featuring three stunningly intact rooms dating back to AD 270.
