Even the Scottish Borders are under 60 minutes from your base. Access is excellent as Alanholme is just off the A66 and well placed between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. It's handy as a stopover on your route between Scotland and England, but why not stay a little longer? Pitches are on grass or hardstanding, with electric hook-ups available and plenty of space for rallies, too. If you're looking for hassle-free camping, the Blencathra pod is an ideal choice.
