Our three nights stay was very peaceful but luxurious with the use of the hot tub! The set up is very cute, with picnic table, BBQ and fire pit in its own enclosure. We had no other guests staying so it was very peaceful and private. If another random guest had been staying next door it could've been more awkward when outside as they are close together. Ideally, this place would be great for a bigger group using all three lodges. Location wise there are lots of great walks within a 20 minute radius. More locally there is a great pub and brewery within walking distance.

Lovely cabin set in countryside. Waking up to cows in the field by the cabin was so lovely. Facilities were everything you need. Was nice to turn up to the heating on as it was a chilly weekend. Wasn't spotless, but it is a cabin so cant expect it to be.
Site's response
Thank you for staying with us at Kiss Wood Cabins. I'm so please you found us to be a relaxing stay and enjoyed waking up watching the cattle in the paddocks. We pride ourselves on high cleaning standards. Please could you elaborate on the areas which weren't spotless and we can make sure to look at these areas. If this had of been mentioned to us while on site we maybe could have improved something for you. Thank you.

An amazing stay! This was probably the best pod stay I've had. All of the facilities was 5*. The pod itself had a full kitchenette with an electric hob and everything. Coffee, tea, milk, drinking water, towels, linen etc. were all provided. The TV had full signal across all channels. There was no WIFI / phone signal, but to be honest that's a welcome break and exactly why you'd book a stay like this. The hot tub was fantastic, it's not wood fired but it's a really decent deep size, easy controls and got very toasty. There's different light options and water work options, very fancy! The location is great, everything is within 15/20 minute drive and you're literally just off of the working farm, so we had cows in the field next to us. Only other thing to mention is that as far as we could tell there were no direct walking trails from the site, but again everything else is so close by it didn't really matter. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We hired all three pods with family. Great location with lovely views. We have had the best weekend together. The pods were lovely and clean. Water in the taps is not drinking water but they provided some bottled water to start us off. We would definitely recommend!

There are just three pods at this site, in farmland amid rolling green hills. It is remote and quiet, but there are places to visit nearby. Our pod was nicely fitted out with essentials and we were comfortable there for four nights. There was plenty of hot water and the pod was clean and tidy. The water supply is shown as not drinkable. On enquiry, we learned that the water is from a spring and not chemically treated. The only other minor issue was an occasional pong in the bathroom which dissipated after running the shower. It was our first glamping experience and we would recommend this site.

Waking in the morning, to a view that fills the heart, with joy and excitement for the day that's about to start. Walking in the meadow, catching glimpses of the deer, sitting in the hot tub, a stunning kite then appears. The Shepherds hut is small but homely, perfect just for two, Shared with our two cockers, and the tranquil country view. At night time walking to The Ship, meeting two delightful donkeys, on a Thursday, tomahawk steak night, a bottle of wine that made us wonky! Walking on the rolling hills, panoramic from the top, We were looking forward to this trip, and it really hit the spot.

A complete escape from the business of life and after five days we all feel relaxed. It is a pod in the middle of the countryside with limited service and around 20 minutes drive to the nearest town, but that is exactly what we needed. The pod was clean and if we needed anything at all, Sarah was incredible at responding via text and helping. The views were stunning and the hot tub was amazing! If you are looking for a getaway to the depths of the countryside with all the countryside has to offer, this is a complete gem.

Absolutely beautiful place, perfect for a nice short getaway or a long weekend. Cozy, lovely cabins and the hot tub đ Surrounded by walks and only a short drive to places for a day out. Felt very welcome and loved just being off the grid watching the cows grazing in the lower fields. Definitely will be coming again many more times in the future.

Great views over the hills from the cabin, which was cosy and clean. Very well equipped, lovely shower and the main bed was comfortable. Great stargazing from the hot tub as there was no light pollution and our toddler loved the tractors and cows on the farm.

Absolutely amazing stay here at the weekend, the pod is compact but spacious with a bed, sofa, table, toilet and shower inside. It had everything we needed. It was nice and toasty upon arrival and easy to heat up the cabin. The hot tub was also ready to use straight away and was a lovely addition to the weekend. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful weekend, it is very remote and there is virtually no service in the cabins and no WIFI on site. There is some service as you venture outside of the farm though.

Booked for a last minute friends trip, was absolutely beautiful, brilliant views of the local area. The pods are lovely and warm, hot water, showers, kitchen, working TV, and the hot tub was amazing and just what we needed. There's a lovely pub up the road with some great food and a beautiful walking trail that starts just up the road from the farm entrance. I genuinely couldn't recommend these cabins enough and I can't wait to come back in the future!

As soon as we arrived we agreed we must come back! The cabin has everything you need in its intimate space, and we had cava and chocolates waiting for us as a special treat! We came here as part of our minimoon and it was truly so special. A good walk to the nearby pub which was lovely, and the surrounding area is gorgeous. We will absolutely be returning either just ourselves or with friends.

We booked Kiss Wood Cabins for a birthday long weekend and it truly did not disappoint! The location is perfect on a local farm with its own private entrance and car park for peace and quiet whilst being walkable to a great local pub and brewery. It is a reasonably short drive to local shops for food and drink and we'll positioned to visit all the various hikes and tourist hot spots that the peak district has to offer. The accommodation is snug but perfect for a short stay with a hot shower, comfy bed, kitchenette with hob and microwave and a BBQ, hot tub and seating outside to enjoy the sun and view of the farm over a cold drink. We loved our stay and have already recommended it to friends and family.

We stayed in the woodland star pod and I couldn't recommend it enough. The cabin was fully stocked with tea coffee and everything that you would need for a few days stay. It was spotless and the hot tub was a lovely treat. The only thing I would mention is if you are looking to have a BBQ or fire make sure you buy firewood/ charcoal, as it's a 20 min drive to Macclesfield to get some. We enjoyed lovely walks in the Peak District and would have happily stayed longer. We didn't want to leave!

Had a lovely stay here at Kiss Wood Cabins in a nice cosy area with a beautiful view of the cows and horses in the fields, the sunset was beautiful. Perfect for dogs, the pods don't have their own individual fences, which we were worried about, but they do have a big gate at the start of the property to prevent your little best friends running off. Our cockapoo had the time of her life running up and down the long path and chilling on the porch bit so if they're well trained I wouldn't worry. The only thing to be mindful of is there's no Wi-Fi / data around the area, which is expected in the hills, but we had to drive for a while until we got enough data for the satnav. In this environment though, it is a nice break from things like social media. We weren't able to locate any sticks etc for the log fire so be mindful to bring your own kindle etc. Overall, it was a lovely little break and we will definitely be coming again.

I would definitely recommend these cabins/pods as a peaceful get away. I advise you take some games/ something to do for the night-time unless you have booked one with the hot tub. The warm water in the shower lasts for about 2 minutes before the shower goes freezing cold, which wasn't ideal, but other than that we had an amazing stay. The view was amazing, the peace and quiet was really relaxing.
