Me and a couple of friends had booked to camp on site. However, a few days before due to the weather, we decided against camping and phoned up to change to a lodge. This was definitely a good choice, the lodge was perfect for what we required. Good size, private bedroom with a small double bed and a sofa bed in the lounge area. The equipment provided was brilliant, like cutlery, cooking utensils, hand soap, washing up liquid, body wash. Central heating was great. At first, the TV didn't work properly but we realised the aerial needed placing on top of the TV and after doing this, we had no problems, it worked perfectly for the rest of the weekend. They provided a firepit outside the lodge however, we didn't use this. The site itself was nice and quiet, although we did stay in a quiet season (mid October). The only downside I'd say is no Wi-Fi in the lodge or on site. This would have been a major plus for us due to poor signal on site (usually just one bar of signal). If the owners were looking to improve the facilities I'd say Wi-Fi for sure and a hot tub outside the lodge would have been fab! But for what we needed it was great and reasonable cost, however they do add a cleaning fee.

Just returned from a great couple of nights stay at the Marbury Campsite, super accessible location although still remote! There are really good facilities, the atmosphere was very family-friendly and we will definitely return!

Loved the stay at Marbury Camp, great little camp. Basics done very well, plenty open space, onsite shop, pizzas sold on Saturdays, separate dog field to let the dog run around. We pitched up with electric, all good and sister had a lodge, which they said was very nice. Nice set up with campfire, where you help yourself to a very small trailer (that is the fire pit) with two bags of wood kindling, natural fire lighter and mates inside. Then text the campsite and they give you the code to unlock and they'll add it to your bill. We pre booked the camp fire, was enough for three nights. Also have disc golf, which we enjoyed a game of.

Lovely quiet location, easy walk to nice local pubs. Washing up area busy but not an issue, all about timing. Large pitches and lovely picnic bench. Will be back again next year.

Marbury was a welcome overnight break on our journey to South Wales. Quiet location. Very pretty views. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Large field for dogs to run in. Paying online for fire pits was a clever idea. Whole set up was good. Would recommend π

What a brilliant site if you want a quiet relaxed break, and if you like walking it's the best part of 2 miles (following the very quiet road) to the nearest pub (beautiful place) for food and/or drinks. Facilities are the best we have stayed at and spotlessly clean. Owners have a great attitude to life and are very nice people to talk to. There is a little reception/shop for essentials and they are cirrently awaiting permission to be able to supply and sell beer, wine etc which would be very useful. Honestly, the site is immaculate and well cared for π, it is a little bit out of the way but there are plenty of public pathways through the fields for walking (if that's what your into? π) Highly recomend

Trailer caravan pitch. Lovely, excellently maintained site. Quiet lovely views and plenty of space on pitches with added benefit of a sturdy picnic table and lovely views. Great spotless clean amenities and plenty of hot water showers and washing up. Nice additions if you want a firepit with wood and a freezer.
