About the site

If you're looking for an action-packed camping adventure, this family-friendly and dog-friendly site could be a perfect fit. Located in Pen-Y-Cae in Powys, the site lies within Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), ideal for hikers and nature lovers. Pitch your tent at one of the twenty non-electric grass pitches, some suited for solo travellers only and others suited for bigger tents and groups. Additionally, there's a large bunkhouse with nine centrally heated bedrooms and dining facilities that can accommodate up to 40, perfect for a fun weekend away with friends. The site also caters to hen and stag parties, providing a range of team activities, catering options and even minibus transport to the heart of Swansea. Thanks to an onsite activity centre offering climbing, caving and canoeing, there's plenty for guests to do without even leaving the site. However, if you are interested in exploring, there are two great pubs and a quirky café within walking distance, as well as a number of walking trails. In keeping with the site's name, campfires are permitted in the firepits dotted around the site and firewood can be purchased onsite.
