Bluecaps Farm Glamping is set on a family-run working farm in Cousely Wood, by Wadhurst. The site has around 400 acres, breeding a range of animals, and making hay while the sun shines. The glamping site is a quiet and secluded countryside experience, less than an hour from London and is home to adorable llamas. Each shepherd's hut comes with cosy furnishing, plus a fire pit/BBQ. Watersports at Bewl Water are ten minutes away!

About the site

Enjoy peace and quiet, unpolluted night skies, waking up to stunning views of neighbouring Bewl Water, and unwinding in the beautiful High Weald countryside. The site has four shepherd's huts, Poppy, Daisy, Forget-me-not and Sunflower. Poppy features a generous double bed, and small kitchen area including a toaster, kettle and induction hob, log burner and BBQ firepit. Apart from Daisy, each shepherd's hut is kitted out with an induction hob, plug in cool box, toaster, kettle and the usual pots, crockery and cutlery. A welcome pack includes tea, coffee and a bottle of wine to help you start to relax and unwind. Daisy, however, is solar powered and features a small gas ring for heating water etc. The log burner has two cooking rings built into it, but for convenience, there is an undercover overflow area for Daisy which has four gas cooking rings and also seating. Forget-me-not is four berth featuring a comfortable double bed and two bunk beds. Built to the same high spec as Poppy. Sunflower is also four berth but larger than the other, with the same layout but room to accommodate a sofa. All accommodation has it's own private seating area with BBQ/firepit with some free wood.

Bluecaps Farm Glamping is open from 01/04 to 30/09.

A note from the site themselves...

I started the glamping site back in 2015 after the passing of my husband. Needed something to keep me occupied and the glamping was just the thing. I love welcoming guests to our glamping site. During their stay you really get to know them and sometimes even share a glass of wine with them and enjoy a chat!

We have kept the numbers low as want the experience to be tranquil and due to there not being many units there is unpolluted light so the stars are very visible when there is no cloud cover. Would be great for astronomers!

At the moment we can take a total of 12 people although we are in the process of converting a horse box so will be able to take additional people later in the year. That will be great fun!

I am extremely proud of the fact that all my guests love their experience here on the farm and many of them love the llamas. There are also the five pygmy goats to chat to and they are always up for it! We have repeat guests regularly and I think that speaks ions.

Shepherd's Hut - Forget-me-not Shepherd's HutJul 2024

Immaculate shepherds hut - super cosy and comfy and equipped with everything we could have needed. Beautiful and peaceful site - loved saying hello to the goats, horses and llamas and spotting bunnies in the field. My boys did not want to leave. Already planning to return this summer - would highly recommend this little gem of glamping site.
