Three Rivers Pitch and Paddle is a riverside campsite offering two launching areas for you to launch your own vessels, or you can hire from the on-site boat hire. It's a tidy campsite welcoming quiet nature loving guests. There are two pubs with in walking distance, and there is a plethora of things to do nearby.

About the site
If you are looking to get away from day to day life and enjoy nature then Three Rivers is the place to visit. Whether you prefer the 'almost wild' camping, with no electric and no bothers (but still close to good facilities) or would rather enjoy the comfort of an electric hook-up pitch, you'll be well looked after here. The riverside location is very peaceful and you'll love the rural countryside views.
The site is open to caravans and motorhomes all year round, weather dependent. Tents are welcome from March 1st until the end of October.

7 x Mown Grass Bays (Non-Electric)
These are mown circles into long grass. The bays were designed to give campers space and privacy from others but can easily accommodate small groups of two or three tents/campervans.
12 x Electric Pitches
Electric hook-up pitches in the main field on mown grass.
8 x Electric Hardstanding Pitches
Large hardstanding pitches with electric.

Pets welcome but please do clean up after them and keep them on a lead out of respect for others.
BBQs and campfires allowed if in a man-made fire basket/pit (which is held up off of the ground).
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Things to do on site and in the Beccles area
The Waveney River is on the doorstep, so water sport lovers have access to two slipways on site to launch canoes, kayaks, small boats and dinghies, as well as a quay heading to tie them to. Paddle boarding is popular on this part of the river as well.
If you prefer to keep your feet on the land there are some lovely walks in the area ranging from 1.5 miles to 7 miles. There are two pubs within easy walking distance too - The Wherry Inn, Geldeston (0.3 Miles) and The Geldeston Locks Inn (0.6 Miles).
If you are a keen walker approximately two miles away is The Olive Tree in Ellingham, or there is a lovely 7 mile circular walk starting from The Wherry Inn pub, along the river, into Beccles and back through the Barsham countryside landing you at The Geldeston Locks Inn pub.
For those of you who enjoy bird watching, there are plenty to see! Last year visitors spotted treecreepers nesting on site, barn owls, kingfishers, egrets, herons, as well as many more variety of birds. Sometimes the otters swim by too!
The market town of Beccles is only three miles away where you will find supermarkets, some great restaurants and various high street shops. You can walk to Beccles along the river on The Broads Authorities' River Walk if desired, or take one of the other mapped Geldeston Walks which you can find posted on the side of the Village Hall.
You are less than half an hour from both Gorleston and Southwold Beaches for a day trip to the seaside!
