Each is candle lit, has its own fire pit, ensuite facilities, and the option of a private hot tub, plus a communal BBQ hut for tasty meals,

About the site
The shepherd's huts are made for two, each with a king size bed and feather duvet and a small wood burner. The huts are finished beautifully with restored furniture and blacksmith fittings, as well as a range of books and games to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Nomad has a double bed and feather duvet, vintage furnishings and a small wood burner. The yurt has its own toilet and shower facilities. Each has its own fire pit and outdoor kitchen kit provided. There is the option of a hot tub right next to each hut/yurt, the perfect place to enjoy stargazing with the very dark skies. Bed linen and towels for two are provided, along with a supply of wood and fire lighters, cooking equipment, china and cutlery. You'll also be provided with a pack of essentials for the kitchen including coffee, tea, sugar, marshmallows and washing up liquid.

Nomad

The Nomad yurt sleeps two comfortably with a kingsize bed. There are private facilities and a woodburning stove. A hot tub is available as an optional extra.
Forager

The Forager shepherd's hut has far reaching views. It sleep two comfortably with a kingsize bed with feather duvet and a romantic interior and is well equipped with a restored furniture, wood burner and ensuite shower and loo.
Artisan
Max 2 people
The Artisan shepherd's hut is in its own private corner of the Forest Garden, surrounded by hornbeam. It sleeps two comfortably with a kingsize bed and a romantic interior and is well equipped with a Dutch dresser, wood burner and ensuite shower and loo.

Dorset Forest Garden is on a 20 acre working farm. No smoking on the farm.
Things to do on site and in the Beaminster area
You can spend your days exploring the rolling Dorset countryside, heading to the seaside on the Jurassic Coast, or just take your time cooking on an open campfire and allowing the day to drift by under a shady tree.
If the weather's not so sunny you can retreat to the BBQ hut, a great place to meet other guests and enjoy various games. Or you can chill out in your shepherd's hut/ bell tent with a lit wood burner and a brew. It all makes for a quiet and relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
Because this is a remote site, there is very low light pollution, making for wonderful night skies, and a great place to connect with nature.
