Facilities and amenities

Both of the shepherd's huts are equipped with an ensuite toilet and kitchen area and the Geodomes have a kitchenette. They all have use of a shower block shared with the neighbouring park. There's even an outdoor cinema marquee, which can be booked for your private use.

The site owners also run a farm shop, where they sell beef directly from their farm. This is a great spot for buying supplies for your trip.

Oct 2024

We stayed during blustery Welsh Autumn weather. We chose to visit out of season on purpose, quieter roads, fewer tourists, plus it was also seal season. The Taurus Geodome was fantastic, it was clean, comfortable and had everything we required for a short stay. The geodome is insulated, additional blankets and heaters are provided for when it's fresh outside. The addition of a private toilet/shower was fantastic, the shower wasn't the standard campsite dribble, it is a proper power shower. We arranged to have the wood fired hot tub heated ready for our arrival, toasty warm bubbles on a cold windy night. Lay cocooned in the hot water watching the myriad of stars due to the dark skies was amazing, even seeing several shooting stars. There is an artisan Welsh Cake shop next to the site that does sell a few essentials, as well as delicious Welsh Cakes. Due to the location of the site, you are never far from the coast, beaches galore and the coastal path. If you visit around the end of October you'll see plenty of seals and seal pups hauled up on the beaches, but please don't disturb them, watch from distance.

Glamping Dome - Taurus GeodomeJun 2024

The geodome was a beautiful place to stay for a weekend getaway. It was in a really peaceful location, with lovely views and just a short drive to the coast. The geodome had everything we needed and was very comfortable. As it is a relatively new site, the hedges have not grown very much between the accommodations so it was not very private when using the hot tub or sitting outside. When it came to using the hot tub, we did not realize that we had to fill it ourselves. When we filled it up there was clumps of hair and mould floating in the bottom, which took a while for us to empty and clean ourselves before using.

Site's response

Hi Hannah, thanks for the feedback for your stay. As you say, we are a relatively new site, so the hedging is still developing around the units. We would just like to clarify, we do not expect our guests to fill the hot tubs as this is done prior to your arrival and we have a thorough deep cleaning process and use nature friendly products to keep the hot tub water clean for the duration of your stay. We are deeply sorry if you feel this was not done for your stay and would have appreciated this feedback during your stay. We are unable to rectify any issues after you have checked out. Would you mind please sending over any images you have of this so we can confirm these issues? Many thanks, Stargaze Glamping.

Great getaway
