Wow what an amazing time me and my partner had at the glamping pod, beautiful location perfect for the lake. When we arrived the Hot tub was already heated by the owner who was absolutely helpful and let us know everything we needed to know. The pod was spotless with everything you need including a welcome pack with biscuits, wine, milk, coffee, tea ect. I will defiantly be booking this pod again thank you so much.
Fantastic place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay not far from Coniston. Lovely pub across the road called ‘The Wilson’s Arms’ and Mark our host was extremely helpful. The garden was secure for our dog. Would highly recommend.

Fab stay in the glamping pod with our dog. Everything you could need and felt very secluded and private. Was a fab area for walking and exploring Coniston. Pub across the road was also great. Dog loved being able to roam around in the fenced off area and the hot tub was a great addition.

So many pods only cater for couples, so this was a great find for me and my brother, as it had a sofa bed, as well as the double bed (although the sofa bed was a little creaky but comfortable). Pod was small and cosy and had everything we needed for a few nights. A covered area was great, so we could enjoy BBQ's and use the hot tub in any weather. Although it did take some practice to work out the log burning hot tub for me. But I enjoyed the fact it was so much quieter and Mark was always happy to help. He was a great host, happy to help or advise, knowledgeable of local area and things to do. A pub for food is also right on the doorstep. Coniston is only 2 miles away with numerous other pubs, and places to eat. Walking routes for all abilities close by too. We had a lovely stay! Thanks.

When we arrived, Mark had already lit our hot tub ready for use. The hut was clean with towels, bath robes, cleaning materials and complementary tea, coffee, milk, cereal and biscuits. We had everything we needed. On our second night, Mark even helped us and did our hot tub again for us, he was very helpful. Will be returning.

Clean, modern & spacious, comfy bed. Friendly & helpful, thought has gone into providing all that's needed to save you packing it, such as toaster, hairdryer, robes, washing up liquid and scourer. Fenced off area is large and fairly secluded, nice scenery to wake up to. Plenty of outdoor seating in different areas to get the sun at different times. Hot tub covered so nice to use even on a rainy evening! We will definitely go back at some point.

Me, my fiancé and dog stayed in the pod at Church House Inn for the weekend and couldn't recommended it enough. Upon arrival, our host was amazing and really accommodating. We were provided cereal, biscuits, milk, tea and coffee and a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. The pod itself was clean, modern and spacious. The hot tub was amazing and covered by a canopy for rainy days. The site was quiet and private which is just what we needed, but a short drive or walk to pubs and shops. Thank you for having us and we will be booking again soon.

Mark the owner couldn't do enough for us always on hand if you ever needed anything I would recommend the Church House Inn to anybody who wants to go away for a nice quite weekend to chill and relax. The pod was beautiful and clean and the hot tub was amazing. We definitely will be going back in the near future. Thank you to Mark for making us so welcome.

The most relaxing two night stay with our small puppy. Very secluded but close to Coniston (5 min drive). The hot tub was heated on arrival by host, Mark and he returned the next day to help with the fire again with more wood. Robes and plenty of towels. Bottle of wine, cereal, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk complimentary. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return!

We had a lovely 3 night stay in the glamping pod at the Church House Inn! Mark was very welcoming, making sure the hot tub was heated in time for our arrival, and providing a great welcome basket including a bottle of wine. He was happy to help with any advice in terms of walks and eating out, and was quick to respond whenever we had any queries. The pod itself was spacious and well equipped, with bath robes provided for the hot tub being a nice touch. Despite there being a number of caravans on the site, the glamping pod itself felt private and secluded. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back soon!

Lovely stay. The location is really good, a really lovely area with lots of walks nearby and you can walk to Conniston Water in about 15 minutes. The pod itself was lovely, warm, well equipped and we were even left biccies, milk and wine on arrival. It was clean and the hot tub was nice. My only gripe was the sofa bed really needs replacing as it's sooo creaky and has a big dip at one end. But otherwise, it was absolutely lovely and we would go again.

Spacious glamping pod for 2 adults and the dog. Comfortable bed on a very peaceful site. Nice little touches included a bottle of wine, milk and biscuits, coffee and tea. Log fired hot tub was as warm as the welcome. A 3 mile walk to Coniston along the lake is a must. Defo back for another visit 👍

We had a fantastic stay in the glamping pod. The hosts were very attentive and heated up the hot tub prior to us arriving, to ensure we could use it when we wished. The hot tub felt brand new and very clean, it really made our stay. The location is perfect as a base for walks (we walked up Old Man Coniston) and has a local pub which does great food. The accommodation was really clean and tidy, with little extras such as a bottle of wine left in the fridge for us. I really could not fault this stay and would encourage others to book and stay. We only stayed 2 nights but I could definitely stay longer as there is so much to do in the surrounding area if you like hiking, small villages and tourist attractions.

Just completed a 5 night stay during half term with my 17 year old son and our dog. We used this as a base for daily walking excursions and it was ideal. The pod is brilliantly equipped and housed in its own fenced off gravel area, so great with a dog. The owner, Mark, was friendly and could not do enough for us, he even had the hot tub going when we arrived. Complimentary bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival was a really nice touch also. I would highly recommend this location to others.

We had a wonderful stay in the glamping pod, it was exactly as described. Wine, cereal and biscuits left for us which was a really nice gesture and the owner couldn't do enough for us, adding wood to the hot tub burner.

A wonderful little glamping pod I booked for my partner's birthday! Not too far a walk from Coniston so plenty to see and do, especially if you're an outdoor lover! Mark was really helpful and attentive to our needs and happy to bring us more wood for the hot tub if we needed it! Definitely recommend for those who like a little getaway but with some comforts of home still. Thanks again!

Stayed this weekend for 2 nights. The owner is so accommodating, he couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Special touches of wine, biscuits, cereal, tea, coffee and milk - all complementary. The pod was immaculate, would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 2 nights in the pod between Christmas and New Year with our 5 year old & 3 year old. Mark the owner couldn't do enough for us. When we arrived, the hot tub was already heating up and he let us know when it would be ready. The next night, we couldn't work out how to heat the hot tub and straight away he helped us and got it ready for us again. A nice welcome pack that included biscuits, a wine bottle in the fridge and some milk. He told us about a few takeaways and pubs in the area, as well as various walks (we couldn't do any as the weather was awful, which he apologised for). The pod itself was very clean and cosy. We thought we'd have a problem keeping warm inside the pod and getting cold at night, especially as it's middle of winter, but we were wrong. A lovely little heater in the pod kept it nice and toasty. The pod had everything we needed in it. Despite the awful weather, we had such a good time. The campsite is very peaceful, even though it looked busy. We will hopefully be returning again in the future.

The pod itself is very spacious and nicely decorated. The bedsheets were so soft, it was like sleeping in a cloud. Mike, the owner, was so lovely and had already started heating the wood burner hot tub before we arrived, and again the following day when we went out. Stunning views and just an overall amazing stay.

Perfect weekend getaway. Arrived Friday around 4pm, got straight in no fuss! Clean, warm pod with special little touches of a bottle of wine and some fresh milk and a pack of biscuits! They had the hot tub loaded with wood and was just coming to the right temp as we arrived. While we were out on the Saturday, they got it going and kept popping down while we were out, adding the wood so it was perfect temp after a long walk!! Lovely people, right friendly. Pointed us in the right direction for walks. Couldn't fault it at all, would definitely go back. Great price, defo value for money and in a great location. Thanks 😊

We've just returned from our stay at the glamping pod, it was spacious enough even for the 2 of us plus our baby and dog. It was very clean, and the bed was comfortable unlike some of the plastic mattresses you often get in glamping pods. The shower was hot and we had what we needed to cook breakfast and feed our baby each day. The site was very private, away from the world it seemed and the hot tub was fantastic. Julie looked after us throughout our stay, we were given wine, tea, coffee, milk and very tasty ginger biscuits upon our arrival which was a lovely touch. Julie also lit the tub for us each day so that it was ready for our return from our days out walking. There is a beautiful walk through the bottom of the gate towards Coniston but it isn't accessible all of the way with a pram so we had to turn around (Julie did warn us of this) but the rest of the walk looked nice, through fields and over a stile, it takes you to the Bluebird Cafe. The pub opposite was great, staff very friendly and it's a modernised traditional pub, they offer breakfast at the adjoined cafe and the food was great for lunch and an evening meal. The only downside to the pod was that there weren't any places to store your clothes but we still managed and I'm sure most would bring less than we did for the 4 of us.
