About The Rivers Edge
This Monmouthshire pub site is great for both walkers looking for a stopover and families searching for a summer getaway to the great outdoors. Set on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, the site is within easy reach of lots of trails including the Offa's Dyke path, just 20 minutes away. The site has 40 pitches on offer suitable for tents, tourers and Motorhomes. 33 of these have a 16 amp electric hook up supply and 13 of these are hardstanding, perfect for longer stays. There are also grass pitches for tents only, great for walkers needing a one night stopover. Fall asleep to the peaceful sounds of the River Hondu running by the site. Do note that tents over 6m are not permitted. The friendly onsite pub has an extensive menu of food and drink, what better way to end a day of hiking around the Brecons than a tasty home cooked meal? The pub also hosts evening entertainment on weekends including live singers and quiz nights. Enjoy stunning countryside views from your pitch with surrounding farmland and vistas of the Black Mountain! You'll also be ten minutes from Abergavenny, the foodie hub of Monmouthshire. Or, if you are looking for a bit more adventure, head to the Brecons or the Offa's Dyke Path, just a 20 minute walk away. Very close to the very popular attraction of Dirt Farm, perfect for those adrenaline seekers! Fires are not permitted but BBQs are allowed as long as they are raised from the ground. Dogs are welcome just please ensure that they are kept on a lead at all times and picked up after so the open space can be used by everyone.
The Rivers Edge is open from 01/04 to 31/10 in 2024 and from 01/03 to 31/12 in 2025.

Offa's Dyke Path is a long-distance footpath that runs close to Pandy and the site, it offers stunning views and a chance to explore the Welsh-English border. The Skirrid (Ysgyryd Fawr) is a popular hill for hiking, providing panoramic views of the surrounding countryside (10 minutes).
The area around Pandy offers numerous cycling routes for all levels, from leisurely rides along country lanes to more challenging hill climbs. You will also be very near the well know "Dirt Farm" which is very popular for any adrenaline seekers.
Dirt farm is just a few minutes away so perfect for those looking to stay close and relax after the adrenaline filled days at this very popular nearby venue.
The surrounding countryside is rich in wildlife, making it a great spot for bird watching and nature walks. Or take a leisurely stroll along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal if you need to unwind. The Abergavenny Food Festival is held annually and is a popular spot for foodies.
