About Gunwalloe Caravan Park
This family run and family friendly site offers an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway near the sea. You can find the sandy Gunwalloe Beach only a 35 minute walk away, with top attractions like Flambards Theme Park and Cornish Seal Sanctuary also within a ten minute drive for days out. The site offers 29 electric and non electric grass pitches with the option of electric hook up for tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans, motorhomes and RVs. The electric pitches range in size from small, medium and large, starting at 5m x 12m up to 15m x 17m. The ancient town of Helston is only ten minutes away, full of pubs, shops, restaurants and more. A short walk from Helston is Loe Pool, the largest natural freshwater lake in Cornwall - a must-visit! The site is well placed for coastal walks, being just ten minutes from the South West Coast Path. Keen hikers should tackle the walk to Kynance Cove on the Lizard Peninsula, which takes roughly three hours. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads and supervised at all times. BBQs are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended at all times.
Gunwalloe Caravan Park is open from 01/04 to 31/12 in 2024 and all year round in 2025.
Site facilities include a heated toilet and shower block, a washing up area and a disabled toilet and shower room. There is also an enclosed dog walking area for your four legged friend.
There are local shops and supermarkets in Helston, a ten minute drive away. The Halzephron Inn is a five minute drive or a 35 minute walk away.

Great communication with owner throughout our stay. Well managed site, very clean, tidy and well tended green pitches. Hot Showers, large cubicle size, soft lino floors, well vented toilets, covered washing up area kept clean and hygenic, plus the ratio of pitches to facilities was spot on. Fridges and freezers are offered for campers to use, which was very handy. Plus further facilities are currently under construction by the owners which sound great. Pitch ppn was best value in the Lizard plus offered easy access to Helston. Helston offered plenty of pubs and eating options which we were greatful of We loved our stay and will definitely stay again.

One of the best campsites we have been to. The lady that owns it is absolutely amazing, very friendly and very welcoming. Lovely, clean shower and toilet, big washing up area. Good space for the kids to run around. Absolutely brilliant. Very close to a town, beaches and other attractions. Not overly expensive, very good.

You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to days out. With a sandy beach just a 35 minute walk away, you can enjoy days of swimming or sunbathing before enjoying a BBQ at your pitch.
For wildlife lovers, a trip to Cornish Seal Sanctuary (10 minutes) is a must. The seal and sea lion rescue centre rears these adorable animals back to health, offering feeding and education sessions too.
If holidaying with the family, Flambards Theme Park is only a ten minute drive away and great for some family fun. Enjoy thrilling rollercoasters for all ages, an indoor play area, Victorian village and much more!
