A note from the site themselves...

Welcome to our bustling sheep farm, where there's never a dull moment! From the excitement of lambing season to the precision of shearing and haymaking, there's always something happening.

During certain seasons, visitors can delight in the sight of adorable lambs and chicks frolicking about. Our Zwartbles and Ryeland sheep are not only incredibly friendly but also eagerly await the chance to meet our guests for some gentle stroking and petting.

Meet our charming resident pony, Shani, who loves making new friends with our visitors. And don't forget about our feathered friends - our chickens and ducks happily roam the grounds, providing fresh eggs for your breakfast.

Keep your eyes peeled for the majestic Red Kites soaring above, and see if you can catch a glimpse of the swift Hares darting through the fields alongside other farm wildlife. There's always something fascinating to discover on our farm. We hope to welcome you soon, Jessamy

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2024

My wife and I (and our Cocker Spaniel) are experienced all weather campers who are more than happy to go off grid. Dan y Ser is small but perfectly formed and is in a stunningly beautiful location just a few minutes drive from the rather nice mid-Wales market town of Llanidloes. Our camping pitch was flat and ample enough for our large tent and event shelter (for cooking), with uninterrupted views and served by its own picnic bench and fire pit. We liked the Greener camping credentials of the site which includes a composting toilet. Also the "Summer House" with fridge and electric kettle. Jessamy, the site host, should be commended on bringing this lovely and peaceful adult only site into being and we would have no hesitation in recommending.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesJul 2024

We loved camping here and were met at the campsite by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. There was a useful sun house, with a fridge and kettle and food storage. The toilet was a compost toilet but it was clean and functional. The view from the campsite was great but no stars that night due to cloud cover! Very quiet as well! In my honest opinion, the site would benefit from a sign on the roadside indicating the entrances to the campsite.

Brilliant Host and great views
