About the site
Perfectly located near the spa town of Harrogate and only 5 minutes from Ripon, you're in position for some exploring. Transformed from the historic Ripon to Harrogate railway line, this space is now a rural retreat where you can escape the hurly burly in favour of home grown produce, healthy living and stress free breaks. With over 3 acres of grounds, ponds and woodland to explore, it really is a magical spot for a weekend away. It has a cosy kitchen with microwave/oven and hob, and a living space, plus the luxury of a private ensuite shower room and toilet so that there's no need to share with anyone else. Named after a variety of mouthwatering strawberry grown on site, Elsanta sleeps two adults and has a pull out bed for one child. You'll even be made to feel right at home with a welcome pack including freshly ground coffee, tea and milk. Bedding is also supplied for you - made from organic cotton and 100% natural wool, so you're guaranteed a great night's rest with the Allergy UK seal of approval. Sit out on the patio as the sun goes down, amidst the pretty woodland and watch the wonderful wildlife who share this beautiful spot. A glam stay in the hut is where you'll get a taste of outdoor living - but with all of the luxury you would want indoors.

The hut was handmade locally to the team's own design and offers a cosy kitchen and living space, with a private ensuite shower room within the hut.
Florence Shepherd's Hut
Max 2 people
Florence offers a meadow view and sleeps two adults. Camping is available alongside Florence when booking the hut, which works well for families with older children - all campers will use the shepherd's hut facilities.
Sonata Shepherd's Hut
Max 2 people
Sonata sleeps two adults and offers a cosy living space, with an ensuite shower room and furnished kitchen. This hut will keep you nice and toasty with its additional underfloor heating.

Things to do on site and in the Harrogate area
There are beautiful walks around the vast grounds including ponds, woodland and meadows. Public footpaths connect the site, from which you can explore Markington, Ripley and further afield.
Pick fruit from the variety of trees and plants within the grounds or pick strawberries grown within the site's own polytunnel in season.
Fitness classes and yoga are available. Please ask for details.
There are lots of events locally including the annual Harrogate Flower Show and antiques fairs.
