Why you'll love it at Old School House Certificated Location

About the site

Old School House is an adult only 5 pitch certificated location offering lovely views of a village church (bells rung twice yearly!). Situated between the market towns of Kings Lynn and Wisbech, the location is quiet, yet just a quarter mile from the main road into local towns, which makes for easy towing with no winding single lanes. Level, grassed, fenced and gated pitches sit within 3/4 of an acre, with views of the church. Guests can pitch as they want without strict restrictions on how they do so. There are three hardstanding pitches too. Dogs are welcome and there are even facilities for bringing your horse along too.

Bird watching great in this area, and spots are within a 15 minute drive, thanks to 2 bird reserves. You will also see lots of interesting birds in the site's fields. The Sir Peter Scott walk is 10 minutes away and offers a lovely 10.5 mile walk along The Wash.

The interesting market towns of Kings Lynn and Wisbech contain lots of museums and are both 5 miles away. Kings Lynn is known for a bit of foodie/gastropub dining, so do try a meal out there.

Sandringham is within a 20 minute drive so go and see the Queen's estate, house and gardens. There are some fab National Trust properties, too, in Wisbech and Oxborough.

The beautiful beaches of North Norfolk start within a 25 minute drive away and make for lovely strolls. Take your dog for walks on the excellent designated dog walk, and staff may have a spare fully enclosed field to use for off lead exercise- please enquire about this when booking.

Other great things to do include:

  • Peckover House
  • The Wisbeach and Fenland Museum
  • The Museum of Technology in Throckenholt
